Oh,god! I still have no reply and we only use 15 minutes for interview.  So we have no chance any more!!

其實邊間好唔好就好難講,最重要小朋友夾唔夾, 至於school內有無新移民,其實講真所有津小/官小都有, 由其近D新公屋既school會仲多,D新公屋可以話8~9成係新移民,同D細路去公園玩,D c9自己圍內全部講暗語(鄉下話),
你如好介意新移民就要揀D附近小新公屋既school或私校喇

其實李兆強星期一打比我問我讀唔讀,我話讀,咁佢就話等通知註冊. 之後我星期三自己打電話去問佢確實時間,佢話會出信. 收左線之後,我又唔放心,即刻又打去,問佢係唔係confirm 我囝囝收左. 果位姐姐說(哈哈大笑友善地)"我打電話比你架嘛,梗係啦,哎小朋友叫咩名呀?"check 左之後話"係呀. 收左嘞,唔好再打電話嚟嘞,我地好忙呀!" 我之後咪猛咁話唔該同麻煩晒囉.

基顯隔離係油麗村、油塘村, 唔止新移民, 南亞裔人仕都有, 我見過佢地著晒民族服, 幾靚架, 仲有D包住個頭tim. 新官小位於秀茂坪第一期側, 新移民一定有, 唔知多唔多過油麗村呢.

其實依家香港本地人出生率仲係好低, 相比30年前我讀小學果時, 淨係一年級都有8班, 真係蚊比同牛比, 不過今時今日要o係香港揾學校讀書o既, 唔止得土生土長o既家長D小朋友, 仲有好多好多新移民媽咪o既細路. o係樓下鯉魚門廣塲就見到唔少30幾歲講"怪獸話"果D媽咪, 拖住3、4個"陸軍裝"o既小朋友, 真係一街都係......

到10幾年後, 佢地會被同化, 或且要等果班細路入到D好學校, 讀完書出黎, 先對社會有較大o既貢獻la.

除非你讀私立or直資, 唔係就實有新移民做你同學, 不過對我來講, 我就冇乜所謂, 因為搬得來呢區都預左la.

I was also in primary school 30 years ago, actually in one of the public estates in the Kwun Tong area. You were right that there were many classes for each grade.   But we also had a lot of classmates who had moved from Mainland for a short period of time and many still had their "village accent".  I became friends with them and many turned out to be quite successful today.   
My question is, how were they different from the "新移民" today?  
I found that most comments in this thread about Kwun Tong schools are overwhelmingly discriminating.  Why and how do you people assume that the new immigrant families today are poor-quality people?  I am still living in Kwun Tong district today and we have had part-time domestic helpers who are new immigrants and hard-working.  The janitor in our building actually has a son who is studying at CUHK.  
I hope you people won't teach this kind of "philosophy" to your children.  I am concerned that pretty soon our district will become what we saw in Mui Wo a few days ago!!!

Kaifu,

Totally agree with your point of view. Actually, there were really some of my classmate who came from the mainland few years before at that time. Some of them are quite sucess and give a lot of contribution to our society.

The difference between the immigrants in the old days and those we see now is most of them are still not want to join into our society to become a real Hong Kong people.

Deep in my mind, when I was studying in England long time ago, if we chat with our friends in Cantonese, we will surely be query as impolite by some British eye-sight.

I am not justify that the new immigrants are being no contribute to Hong Kong, just the thing I want to voice out is they are still not doing well to make them to be a real Hong Kong people at all.
