SFA係好好谷既學校,同SM係兩類好唔同既學校!所以我諗都無諗過要報!我同事個仔讀sfa,係資優兒童,所以完全讀到跟到!但個細妹唔係,就真係跟唔到,佢話一堂教四版書,其中三頁老師輕輕講過,跟著就話要默書! 如果唔同佢溫既就默書會唔合格,仲要係一班有成一半人都唔合格!根本就係將d壓力放在父母既身上!

我覺得佢地兩間係同類學校,but tsl既學費係sm既一半, but sm又有中學back up,感覺真係好d!

多謝你地既關心, 我都知lay兩間係完全唔同既學校.

我自己就唔係算好谷個仔, 亦唔知佢係唔係資優兒童 (希望係 ), 但睇到佢可以吸收得好怏 (學校成績唔算最top, 但在中上, 可能晚晚溫習瓜), 應該跟得到, 反而係驚自己懶, 跟唔到個仔d 進度. 不過現階段都只係見, 都未必得.

而且到最後, 都要睇仔仔既意願.

Hi my girl got her interview on Oct 9th, still not hear any feedback from school. No second interview call nor receive any letter.
Can anyone please share if they receive call or letter if your child have interview same date as I do. Thank you.

The school will inform you within a month but I guess most of the parent has paid the registration fee to reserve the place.

Since the P1 interviews have not finished yet, I suppose some of the parent will release the place if they find a more suitable school for their kid.

其實一向喜愛SM,因環境和師資勝過TSL.雖然學費貴多一半,但SM一切物超所值!我Check過TSL學生升中都是入SM中學部,so為何不直接入SM享受一龍,煩小一次！TSL是有名,但我估SM過多一兩年都會追上！我選TSL是因為好近屋企,only 5 mins on foot
So,no 2nd interview,沒有失望！最重要個仔like SM more
than TSL

other forum果位家長係p.5家長, 佢好資深架啦, 相信佢講得出係校長講既就應該確有此事.  至於呢個banding我估係教署內部編既, 應該係唔向外公開, 所以只有校長知掛.

不過無論band 1又好, band2又好, 我覺得揀學校都係要適合小朋友為主, 始終覺得小學階段學習既"質量"係重要過"數量".

仲有成日問我學法文後可以去法國同人傾計嗎？好搞笑
唔知SM教外語這科need exam ？啲小朋友學了一兩年後真的可應對？

我囡囡今年先開始學法文, 唔駛exam, 只有評估.  我自己唔識, 所以佢要靠自己.  我諗學一, 兩年普通簡單對話應該可以應付, 但要再深入d就一d要下多幾年苦工先得, 不過如果佢地係直上sm中學, 就可以一直到中學都會繼續學, 咁我諗學咗咁多年都應該有d成績既.  我宜家聽囡囡講法文單字d發音都幾似樣, 佢法文都係外籍老師教.

Hey, have u applied DBS or CKY for your boy?  As per your description, I think your boy may be accepted by DBS & CKY coz these two schools like to recruit boys with high potential, like you boy.

My son was interviewed on 9/Oct. and receive a call yesterday for 2nd interview on 5/Nov.

Does any one could tell me how long does it take for 2nd interview? They say it takes 15 MINS, but I am afaid the waiting time will longer than that due to 1st interview experience.

It only takes around 15 mins for the interview, in case you have more questions to ask. Last time, I spent almost 1.5 hrs for waiting (1.5 hr) + 15 mins' interview. But no worries, the school has accepted your kid already. Just want to have a casual talk with the parent.

CheCheman,

I saw you are quiet active in the St. Margaret's and DBS's topics. I didn't apply CKY cus he needs to travel a long long way to TinHau for the 1st year.

We did go for the DBS's interview but I'm sure my son couldn't make it for the 2nd interview.  but if it is "yes"  (anyway, it won't happen), I think I hv to prepare a PPT for my son.

SM is still my first choice. However, if SFA accepted my son, we may give up SM.

DB will not accept him. I know he had played some tricks in the interview. Aanyway, DB is not my target. I know you won't believe it but it's true.
