Oh yes!! We are in the same ballet group, I asked her last Sat and she told me she's in 1E. :wink:  Angie is in 1B.

We are going to picnic next week, so see you there!

For all mommies here,
I am wondering if it is worth it for my girl to keep learning Ballet, because it seems like the school doesn't have ballet school team, only chinese dance.  Also, ballet requires girls to take two lessons per week, which I think a little bit too much.  
I am thinking to switch to chinese dance.

So, what do you think?

I also struggle for a while whether or not to keep all the activities. Finally, I let my girl to choose and justify whether she really likes it. However, don't think we should consider too much on school team when select activities.

Dear 琴棋書

I share your feeling and experience.  My daughter learnt Ballet in Jean Wong in K3 for 1 year in Kowloon Bay (very far away from my home).  After passing the pre Grade, they required two lessons every week for G1 and afterward.  Eventually, I quit the ballet class.  The first reason is that I can't afford two lessons every week; second, I don't expect my daughter get higher grade in Ballet, what I want her to achieve in dancing is stretching and getting confidence in dancing.  Last but not least, my daughter doesn't like ballet.  

It's the reason why I didn't enrol my daughter to the ballet class in school.

The fact that the girls need to take two lessons per week for ballet is bit too much for me, both time and money.  Because I have three girls. So it means it costs me triple the costs.  I am wondering if Chinese dance will require two lessons per week also?  Any mom knows about that?

Yes, all my pressure been released after the seminar.  This is really a fabulous school, with good academic and reputation.  PTA members emphasis many times that girls can have a happy school life in MCS.

All mommy, we are a group of lucky guys.  All our princess can studying in this beautiful castle.

I think the girls are happy in the school, my girl keeps telling me that they are having snack together and they are like having a picnic.  It seems like they are shareing their food together.  What do you pack for your girls?  I gave her a banana last Fri and the result is not good.  It got a funny smell and she refused to eat.  any good idea for the fruit that they can bring for their school?

apple wedges (pre soaked in salt water), orange wedges (skin peeled), seedless grapes, melon/catalope in cubes, dried apricot, prunes, raisins and nuts, seaweed ... in air tight plastic box/bag.
