For the new textbook, Andrew had sticked all the stickers already, coz he likes sticking stickers.

For the DVD, yes, Andrew was picking up the Finding Nemo DVD at home and said that teacher asked them to bring back school.  At that moment, both my husband and myself didn't believe what he said, and told him that teacher won't ask them to bring such things back school.  But now that I know that what he said is true, I should trust what he told me from now onwards

Are you hiring Philippino maid?  I'm also waiting for my maid for a long time.  The agency said Phillipines just has a new law in Dec that requires all maid to study for a course and take an exam before they can come... are you suffering from this problem too?

Hi all ! The visa was just received on Friday and now is depends on the training of the maid. My agent said that there is an exam to go after the training. If my maid fail the exam, she needs to take the exam again until she pass it. The agent said most maid fail on the subject of Cantonese. The passing rate is about 60%. Really worry !!

I have chosen a Filipino maid, she works in Taiwan for 2 contracts, never been to HK. This is my first time to have a maid, kind of excited!!

Same for me... first time to have a maid and it was just confirmed today that she'll come on Thurs.  I'm really very excited too!

My maid has been to HK so she only needs 3 days training and she has passed the exam lah.. don't worry.. I don't think the passing rate will be so low.

I also wish you both good luck in choosing a good maid.

My experience on maid is very bad.  I am now having my 2nd maid, just changed on 2 Jan 07.  My previous maid treated Andrew badly, always scold him, skipped his lunches    , and told lies.  We later discovered more things that we cannot accept.  On the day we terminated her, we even found that she stole our things.  We were very disappointed, since we treated her good, at least we believe so. My advice is, not to put your heart to her, and even if you do, do not expect her to appreciate what you've done for her.

If you have time, you can visit 論盡家僱and you can read many real stories of bad maids.  You can also gain from other's experience.

I don't want to scare you, I just feel very disappointed and hope that you won't suffer like me.

Hi all! It's good to hear Horace's mama maid is arriving soon. My maid has never been to HK, so she needs to take a month training. Today I will try to call the agent to see the progress. Wish me luck !!

Eugene told me yesterday that Cyrus is sick. Is he okay now. Eugene also had a fever last night therefore he did not go to school today. But today he seems okay, no fever so far. I am still observing him. Now the weather fluctuate a lot, the kids are easily suffers from flu or diseases. Take care everybody.

I heard Justin said that there's a new slide at school, right?  Hope that the kids can enjoy it!

Just wondering why Justin didn't say that teachers asked them to bring anything to school... is that true? or Justin forgot to tell me what to bring to school?  Cos i remember that sometimes they have to bring something to school, like an animal toy or something else...

Aiya, I am still frustrated about Justin's behaviour -- And i heard from my mum that Justin had a fight with other kids at school.:tongue: ..and i am upset about this and i am really sorry for other lovely kids. ..for Justin may seize others' things....even though i always teach him to share with others and not to fight with others, it seems not work...

No idea who will be on the cabinet. For sure not me! ha! ha! I don't think I can be able to go, may send a rep. to go (ie My husband). BTW I still expect my baby to come, she is very shy, it is over the due date now. I don't know what is she waiting for.
