暑假有時間，我每晚抽半小時跟他讀中文書，現在一起看＂放學了!＂朱天心等著，是關於14個作家的童年，是散文，阿仔說很有趣。

會否因為Alex Rider描寫動作的情節比較深入詳細, 我囝囝就是在那裡讀到什麼back kick, round house kick, 非常喜歡. 一般女孩對這些情節興趣不大. 我從前看金鏞的武俠小說, 也會跳過武打的情節, 只看情情塔塔那些的.

May be.  But she likes other adventure stories like 39 Clue series, Cahill vs Vesper series, Eragon series, Hunger games series, Divergent series, Twilight series, Hose of night series, and even Agatha Christie murder mystery, etc.  She also reads girlie books too like most of Jacqueline Wilson books, some John Green books, Jodie Picoult books, and a lot in the middle.  But no Alex Rider or HP.  I know why she did not like HP, as she watched the movie when she was like 5 and were scared to death by Voldemort.

She recently enjoyed reading Agatha Christe, The Host, Gallagher Academy series.  She is desperately waiting for Allegiant, I don't understand why it is so popular.  Any suggestions for similar books other than the rest of Agatha Christie?

I love Agatha Christie's books and find the books on Mr Monk (by Lee Goldberg, available in HKPL) amusing, especially if you like the TV characters.
