SM小朋友嘅writing skill如何,要睇番高年班小朋友嘅作品先知,不過講得叻唔一定唔識串同寫嘅,大把人講and寫都頂瓜瓜,聽講SM places a lot of emphasis on phonics,而phonics對spelling幫助好大,照計SM小朋友唔應該唔識串字囉.TSL小朋友唔係咁差啫,d人最鍾意見一兩個係咁咁咁,就好似當正全校嘅standard係咁.

我職業係司機,日日2:30-2:40就要準時到學校接老細,今日3way conference3:30先完,你梗見到我啦,只係我可能趕住走,同你chat得唔夠痛快啫,講開3 way conference,有d緊張添,唔知DanDan會present成點.Oh I can read your quoted passage without difficulties but I still think being able to spell is important.

係呀,between CKY & RC,我仍然prefer RC,CKY就中文同英文balanced d,但我對IS(尤其ESF)攪IB信心較大,畢竟攪咗好多年,年年都出幾個IB狀元,overall成績亦好好,但如果有CKY做水泡,萬一RC呢個荒島陸沉,我都浸唔死吖,所以我會考CKY,但我有預感佢考唔到.:)

多謝,幅相的確比真人好睇好多,係學校揾嘅攝影師影嘅.我都知你哋呢排個個都好煩好擔心,希望呢段艱苦嘅日子快d過,所以我報喜不報憂囉,其實早幾日DanDan都發生咗一件慘事,佢喺街入咗toilet唔識開番隻門,但又急poopoo,又無toilet paper,攪到有人要爬窗救人.

恭喜晒,個人仍然覺得你揀SPCC會快樂d,除非你enjoy長期處於作戰狀態,人人攞個女嚟同你比較都能夠處之泰然.至於我好朋友,係個long story,佢嘅背景同經歷好不平凡,所以不知從何說起,總之,佢今日嘅一切都令我好感動好佩服,如果要分享,真係有排講,我怕悶親人,或者有機會見到面or電話傾.

我當然經過深思熟慮先去RC啦,但因IS教學係循序漸進,個pace比較慢,所以要較長時間去睇清楚間學校.另老師suggest好多home learning activity去motivate佢保持學習興趣,我未知配合得好唔好,畢竟我哋係受傳統教育,教囝寫字,串字,計數,同佢溫習,默書點都熟悉d容易掌握d,最多揾補習啫.但思惟訓練對我呢d思想咁rigid嘅人,真係幾有挑戰性,RC好好,我係怕我做得唔好,累咗個囝啫.

大家真有我心, 咁掛著我, 我都係睇多冇回應, 因為除咗要返工, 忙interview, 又要安排新舊maid嗰d嘢, 老公工作好忙, 全無support, 所以人都癲!:cry:

您地太誇獎我了, 我只係覺得小朋友絕對係父母嘅縮影, 我同老公唔係超凡一族, 又點可以要個仔做自己做唔到嘅嘢, 佢呢幾個月嘅表現巳經超乎我地想像, 我好開心; 而且自己亦體會到出面d媽媽真係train到d小朋友好勁(有d小朋友真係好有天份), 如果日日同人比較我可能會想去跳樓. 再者我個人覺得只要小朋友嘅個性及品德有良好發展, 知識方面幾時都有得追; 一山還有一山高, 要Thomas咁細個就日日好似打仗咁, 我地成家人都會受唔著.

英華入唔到2nd, 而家入咗HKUGA waiting list, 收咗就唔駛煩. 我地覺得HKUGA幾適合Thomas, 唔算谷, 校風唔錯又可以有all-round training.

I was just sitting aside quietly during 3-way-conference.  It's so funny that Mr. C and Alicia both seem to discuss very seriously how to achieve the goal.  Alicia's academic goal is to devote more time in art and the social goal is to know more friends.  Mr. C suggested her calling all her classmates for an outing.  How about dandan?

case 1
上次SC去Ocean Park旅行聽到d媽媽傾小一嘅嘢, 佢地話有個朋友嘅女讀DGS, 嗰媽媽都覺得個女幾ok, 有一次學校要小朋友在一個時間內閱讀xx本書, 佢就照指示做, 之後在某一天接女放學d媽媽在討論佢地嘅小朋友睇咗幾多本書, 發覺個個睇多幾倍嘅書, 而d媽媽知道呢個媽媽嘅囡囡只睇咗xx本, 就擰轉塊面無同佢傾計!
佢地就繼續鬥小朋友其他叻嘢!:tongue:

case 2
我朋友嘅姨甥女讀緊SPCC, 個女好聰明但專注力不足, 所以成績在60+左右, 老師有打電話俾朋友個妹跟進, Point out小朋友在校有d咩問題, 但無俾壓力佢, 仲用課餘時間幫佢個女補習, 之後上返70-80分, 嗰媽媽就讚到間學校不得了. (小朋友爸爸媽媽要返工)

d相唔一定要買架,睇咗滿意先買,但d鬼佬影portrait係靚d架,所以唯有俾$啦.係呀,就係行IB先難行,IB好demanding,所以雖然好多local school都攪IB,但始終對外籍老師信心大d,而IS校長係鬼佬,鬼佬管鬼佬一定好d,老師流失少d,對教學較devoted,對學校較有sense of belonging,所以平衡各方面,IS係較match到我嘅expectation,我唯有俾多d support佢,一早知要花時間,只係同traditional school形式唔同,希望過程較愉快,無咁傷感情啫.

Wow!Alicia looks so cute in the photo!Actually the price of the photos are quite reasonable given the quality.(Ocean Park charges $70 for just an instant photo).Do you realize it’s cheaper to order a class photo + a student photo? (only $120). Regarding the 3 way conference on Monday, Daniel’s academic goal is to read more difficult books independently and his social goal is to learn to play basketball.Did your maid or Alicia tell you what happened in the swimming lesson?They assessed the kids and divided them into 4 groups.Sean and Daniel are in the same group again.

唔係噃,你喺我心目中係超凡喎,係superwoman呀!不過咁,完全同意<個性及品德培養最緊要><要Thomas咁細個就日日好似打仗咁,我地成家人都會受唔著>,我又係最憎同人比較,但有唔少家長鍾意,甚至”enjoy”比較,你唔惹人,人哋走嚟惹你,我亦曾為此覺得好煩,甚至失眠,而家喺RC無呢d咁annoying(sorry but I can’t think of a better word)嘅家長,我舒服咗好多.HKUGA好吖,good choice呀,<谷>嘅學校唔會係我首選,尤其男仔,其實教DanDan學術方面一直無乜難度,佢鍾意寫中文字架(幾K形)同數學,佢鍾意讀書,谷得架,但我會問自己,點解要谷啫,既然佢咁好學,咁具探索精神,仲洗乜谷啫,只要保持學習興趣,過多幾年佢就會變自動波,到時我就可以多d落老蘭happy hour.希望HKUGA快d confirm 收Thomas就好喇,到時出嚟飲杯+傾下3級笑話啦,會長!

TSLiu嗰類case(regarding DGS)我都聽唔少,所以,如果兩間都收,如果你真係著重品德培養,你要考慮清楚,尤其你係個devoted嘅Christian,話就話教會學校,其實….一間就真係好著重,一間就…我覺得唔似囉,我喺國際學校個forum都睇過關於DGS類似嘅嘢,等我試下search唔search到俾你for reference.

I accidentally found the names of your little princesses when I checked against the speech festival schedule yesterday. Up to now, DanDan still hasn't memorized the poem.I am so glad that I didn't put him in traditional schools.He is really poor in learning passages by heart.死啦, only 3 more weeks to go咋!
