There was no homeworks in the recent days.  Maybe it's time for revision & preparing for the final assessment.  It seems that the 3rd term is very short but the result of the 2nd term is still not yet announced.

Last Friday was chinese dictation on the 4 pages of 小一生字表.

The project is "The aliens are in the house"
Kids need to make a poster of 4 signs that show what is safe to do and what is not safe to do in the house.
My kid said that he has finished in the school, but not yet give to Miss Tang.  I told him to give tomorrow.  It's not a nice one he made as the project before but he said it's ok, Miss Tang also did like that.

各位1C家長,

我發現普通話的課文及作業跟考試範圍對不上, 例如, 朗讀課文內的課文都找不到, 而聆聽及理解能力入面的什麼"猫媽媽出遠門"及"旅行"都不知道是什麼。我都不知如何幫女兒溫習了   你們有何方法呢? 唔通真的是打天才波

My boy also don't have this story. I've tried to ask him whether he has read this one before.  Can't even get an answer from him
I will just give up & only let him read the other 2 stories to me.
I think the kids are alright, they can manage according to this school's requirement.

I'm really upset , someone in other school says that our school subjects standard is bad. I'm quite unhappy. I don't know that should be true or not, since I read the class notes of my child, I think the standard  is OK, How come the other people says that.

Dear Shirdy,

No need to be upset. As long as we, being a parent, think that the standard is ok and our kids can learn in a happy environment, why bother to care about other people's comment?

I have talked to a mommy in last week's who has kids studying in grade 6 and 4 which means her elder daughter joined the school right at the beginning. She said that she has heard a lot of rumors, 瘋言瘋語 during this 6 years and still she has good faith and confident in the school.

I am sure we are gonna hear even more comments about our school in the future. To me, the standard of our school is not that bad. 學習是漫長的路, 未到最後都不知鹿死誰手?!
Those students in traditional school might be able to spell or write a lot of difficult words, but who can say that those kids can definitely do better than ours in the future?
