Hi vesley,
You can call the school and ask for the date they give out application forms.  They need you to go there and get it in person.

Dear mammies,

Luckily my boy's class are having PE day today, so he must wear the PE uniform.  However, what about the days after?  The physical assessment lasts for 3 days!!
I hope my boy will let me know when he comes back from school today!

I forget about the physical assessment.

Lucky me, my boy needs to wear sport uniform today. Not sure about tomorrow.

I think that the date of  physical assessment from
3-6/1/06 for different class. So the child will be assess according to the day of PE lession. Any mami can tell the content of the physical assessment. My son just tell me only writing  writing and writing today. Of course, he always don't willing to tell me more about the lesion. Talking the impossible things in the lesion.

My son is studying in Sy. Jo primary.  He told me that Kinder students use elevator istead of stair cases to reach their classromm at 7th floor.  although my son goy in P1 from Victoria, a lot of his classmates are from St. Jo Kinder.  According to the info I goy from the current P.1 and P2 parents, the P.1 place is almost guarenteed for kinder students although they cannot promise it openly.

hope the above can help you all to make the decision.

Yes teach how to write ABC.... from K2 (PS. St. Joseph has no K1) but please be assured that it's not that easy to write as perfect as what teachers want.   

Apart from writing ABC, the school teaches a lot.  I think the level of difficulty is average.  Not too easy, not too difficult.

My boy told me that he was asked to jump loops (CIRCUS??) The loops are on the floor, they have to jump into the loops, feet inside, from one to another.  
That's all he told me.  Even I asked him about the uniform, he answered," THE TEACHER SAYS DON'T ASK!" ( I think he mixed up a bit, the teacher was telling them not to ask during assessment, right?)

   My son always  refuse to talk  about school life. I always ask him everyday but he don't say anything. Such as  I ask him who take off the scraf in lession but he said every kids should remove all the scraf , T-shirt, under T-shirt until no cloth. Whatever  I ask he still the same answer. He always tell the funny story but it is impossible.

死喇！My boy's hand writing is getting worse and worse.  It seems that he lost his interest in writing the same words and numbers everyday.  

Refer to the worksheet today, I think they will be asked to draw pictures according to the given words.  唉！My boy's drawing....... I don't think the teacher will understand what he draws.  ALL ANIMALS WITH FOUR LEGS LOOK THE SAME!!!

Don't be disappointed. Many kids at this age did the same, I also need to ask my son what did he draw sometimes.
That's not bad, you can still see it is an animal.

我想問下上年個d好孩子咭夠10張，係末要係2005年前同老師講先有禮物呢?因我個仔已經拿回校兩、三次但每次放學都總見係書包。有一日我張10張咭放落交學費信封內，放學個信封就唔見左張支票，但10張咭就係到，所以好奇怪問下係末只係2005年內換禮物呢?

Hi w27,

My boy had exchanged his 10 "good boy cards" for a little gift already.  However I have no idea if there is any expiry dates.  (I don't think so)  You can put the 10 cards into an envelope and ask you boy to give it to the class mistress, tell her that he has 10 cards. (That was what my boy did!) Try again!!!

That is really an encouragement to the kids.  My boy keeps counting how many "good boy" cards he is having!!!!

My boy had this gift regarding the 10 "good child card" also.
I just used a plastic ring to hold the cards and ask my boy to bring back to school. The teacher would mark a "tick" on the cards and a few days later he got the gift.
