Also, I would like to know if it's good to feed 嬰兒米粉 to my gal now? Which brand of 嬰兒米粉 is recommended? I found 3 brands in supermarket, i.e. Heinz; Gerber and Nestle

do you have 米粉 samples? You should have some samples from hospital's talk/seminar etc...Let your baby try which all & see which one she likes. I remember my son liked the fruity taste, forgot which brand.   Anyway, it's not a must to feed 米粉, you can cook some congee-tell you how to cook on Wednesday.

The formula milk companies sent me many cans of formula, but none of any 米粉 samples They thought that it was too early to give me when I was still pregnant!!!

Yeah...please advice me how to cook congee! Thank in advance!

I can pass u 2 portions of Gerber Plain Rice Cereal and the Heniz Egg Yolk Rice Cereal if u want. I feed Oliver with both Gerber and Heniz, but not Nestle.  I normally mix the fresh/tin veg or egg yolk with the plain rice cereal. Ask your sister to bring some organic cereal from HK when she comes over.

As it is my second child, I would spend less time to prepare his food. I feed him fresh and baby food half and half. I have not cooked congee to him yet, cos' it's too hot now, I don't have the mood to cook congee....even the mood to eat.....I just want cold drinks and water melon...

Hope no thundery storm on Wed. I really want to shop around the supermarket in Sogo. Do anyone of u know that any 'Chiese Herbal Tea' in there? I mean the tea like  五花茶。

Hi Sandy,
There is no hurry to start solid food for your lovely gal. Nowadays, solid food was suggested to start at six month so as the babys' digestive enzymes were more mature .
My son eat Gerber rice cereal when he was six months old.

Crtic had posted some info on last Friday. It's very helpful. You could spend sometime on the websites and pick out some kindergartens first. Most of the kindergarten in SH are full day, i.e. from 9:30 to 3:30. It is various from different kindergarten.  The fees are various too. You have to have a site visit in every kindergaretn. (better with your son together). You can join the kindergarten anytime if they have vacancy. If not, you could join the Early Education Centre, i.e. play group. BTW, SIS has kindergarten.

If it is possible, you are better to go to SH (without kids) for a short trip. You could settle down/arrange something first. To be honest, it is not funny to take 2 kids out under 35C sunny day (It's around 40C) recently.

How are you all?  Really don't have chance to access into BK, no computer and no time.  Also, I don't know why I can't use my account, Little Wing, when I am back to HK.  With no other alternative, I have to create a new account name, Little_Wing_Mom.  So, both LittleWing and Little_Wing_Mom are my BK account.  Hope not confuse you all.

It seems that you got a lot of discussion during the past week.   I feel interested in the discussion regarding kids' education.  Critic did have many experience and knowledgeable in this area.   Really want to attend your Wednesday gathering to chat.........  

Wing and I arrived in HK on last Wednesday as scheduled.  Both of us are still sick till now.  So, most of our time during the past week was taking rest (only my daughter), I can't have rest as I am the only one who take care of my daughter.  So poor.   We are almost recovered from sickness now and hope we can enjoy our holiday here.

Enjoy your gathering in Wednesday.  Do update me your news.

I'm not sure which Int'l is good. Friend's daughter is studying in BISS and she thinks it's ok. Dulwich would have a better location than BISS. Have a site visit la!
