my mother-in-law has sent me a web sit which you can download sudoku for kid free!
however, it's written in french... maybe you can ask your son translate it for you?!

阿女今日好開心咁話我知佢入左junior choir~~太好了~~佢上年已經想入,但上年音樂老師話太多靚聲,唔到佢~~佢今年好多活動呀,又中國舞校隊,又朗誦校隊~~希望佢handle到啦~~

I have the same concern for my son. My son has the following ECAs:
In school
- English Choral
- PTH Solo
- Dizi
- Athletic preteam
- swimming preteam (coming)
- Chinese Enhancement

Outside school
- Badminton
- Chinese Chess (wai chi)

I already decided let it be for the 1st term and don't care about the result, like "Liu Xiang".

One good thing for the school is that it really provides a lot of activities for the kids.

Your son has joined so many activities this year.
Just wondering how many hours he can sleep in a day??

Even though the real “Liu Xiang” from Shangai will retire in a few years’ time, another “Liu Xiang” from HK will pop up in about
10 years’ time and can run as fast as him.
More importantly, this “Liu Xiang” from HK can also swim and is an experienced contestant in the poem recitation competition!!

阿女本身都有dizi學,但因同中國舞撞左,所以最後只能被迫二選一~~

Many thanks for this interesting description. I hope so.

So far, he still maintains to sleep ~9hrs/day as we live very near to the school.
Actually I don't expect any good result but let him to develop the interest and then we can filter.
More important I want to develop his time management and priorization skill (ideally).

婥蔚媽咪, my son also has a lot of time conflict, like the swimming.  I hope I can explain to the teacher and see if we can have some adjustment or start the training in the 2nd term.

No wonder your son can join so many activities as you live close to the school.
However, it costs A LOT of money.   

I think it is a clever strategy to let him try various activities in junior grades and then select a few that he likes most and be more focused when he is in senior grades.

Even when you are being shot, you keep an upright position to protect your body??? If you say that "to keep an upright position when sitting and standing for good posture", I think it makes more  sense.
Not wearing very tight clothes can protect our body?? Then being naked will protect our body...

Should I discuss with the G.S. teacher? Make sense???

May I change my role to be the G.S. teacher tonight??  

The answer "D" should be acceptable.

b.        keep an upright posture

- I think the textbook is referring to the normal circumstances in our daily life.   
For example, we should sit and walk with our backbone straight as much as we can.   
Obviously, if somebody is going to shoot us, we should lay flat on the floor in a prone position to minimize the chance of being shot.   
But this should be very rare case.   
We should have confidence in the general security in HK.  

c.        not wear very tight clothes

-        Wearing very tight clothes may obstruct blood circulation to some extent.

Don’t be naked!!  
Instead of protecting one’s body, it may even harm one’s body easily!!  

Hope I have given you different perspectives in looking at this question.

Hi Heidikl,

I think the answer is referring to what have been mentioned in the textbook. (3 pictures in the textbook, I think should be in Ch 2.) That's why I told my girl the answer should be "D". She originally chose "A" instead.

Hi, Flostangraphy,

I'm back to the forum la~  Missing me?   As you may know, my daughter is now in P5, quite busy, not only my daughter, me too.  Therefore, very seldom to talk in the forum of TSL, just back to BK forum these few days.

I knew that your child will take part in the interview very soon.  Good luck!  Don't be so anxious!  I have a presage, your son can join our happy & big family in next year.  I think you should know that the school will reserve 5-6 french stream students in each class.  Your son should be very smart, just like his father .  So don't worry!  Futhermore, I think our school not only focus on this, but also other areas.  This is the reason why my daughter can join this big family.

Actually, my daughter was so familiar with this school before joining it, because she has a cousin graduated from this school few years ago, my daughter and her grandma used to go to TSL to pick up her cousin after school.  Therefore, she knows TSL very well, I think this is the point that she can take it easy in the interview (few years ago).

Anyway, please also take it easy too, I mean you.  Just tell you son that the teachers only want to play with them on that day.

You see, so many TSL parents would like you and your son to join our family.
And that’s why I have tried my very best to find out the exact “文昌位” for your son.   

As suggested by angelprincess, it will be a good idea to bring your son to the school more often to let him familiarize with the school environment and also let the teachers/staff familiarize with your son!!
