why concern about one more class ? It is same 5 classes in 2006 and 2007 as well.......Teachers, there must be some additional teachers.

I just heard that the school has difficulties hiring teachers before the new school year start, so with another 160+ new students in 07', don't know will this be a problem??

I heard too.  Old DBS wants experienced teachers from New one and there are many young and fresh teachers in new DBS... Don't you think so?

I prefer EC first because the idea of Headmaster is same as me.  Teachers with love is very important and it is directly affected your kids.  They will follow and change into a good character if they have good teachers.   If there is a swimming pool inside the school, it's perfect!

Chosing school :
1st - Heart of the headmaster & Teachers
2nd - Standard / Contents of the school
3nd - School Envoirment/Location

Understanding more above the background of the school.   If we have question, we can directly contact the headmaster to solve your questions face to face by appointment.   Dont attack the school if you dont understand.

I TRUST THEM THEY WILL BE ONE OF THE FAMOUS SCHOOL IN THE FUTURE.

Hi tinatam,

I think you've misunderstood me....    I like the school and agree with it's teaching conecpts, and no intense to attack the school....I was just rushing for another appointment after the seminar today and did not have a chance to ask Principal Lo for my concern.....

Agree that Love is most important amongs all, however, it is also important for parents to know what are the qualifications of teachers and their experiences too!  because these will be the peolpe whom are going to teach our kids for at least another few years.

You mean u trust for the church supporting or Principal Lo. Please tell me more............
Anyway, I like the school concept, but  how come today still haven't got the letter from EC yet.

I think it is expected to be difficult for teachers recruitment as Principal Lo's requirement is quite high , both in academic and "heart" , especially with "Love" to children.....Well, personally I trust him and will put the my son's future on him.....If I'm not failed.....

You would better  go to invite their church .
I think:-
High school fee is not equal to high quality.
The main point is - Dose it work!
E.g. you spend a lot of money to buy a rock-diamond.  Does it work for you?   May be somebody feel you are rich .  Same concept.
The Rich is not equal to The Best, right?

This is my own concept and want to find a nice headmaster & teacher.   

Be a smart parents and you got smart kids.

I dont expect the school which will give so much for my son, just give him a good envoirment for making friends.    We are the headteacher of our kid.
We are reading, our kids will follow.  We are playing mahjong or watch TV at home, our kids also follow.
If they make a bad friend, they will follow too.

o the conclusion is FAMILY EDUCATION + SCHOOL EDUCATION = 100 marks.

I would say I don't know will I have a chance register this school at the end because I don't even know whether they will take my kid.

For me, of couse not.   If they dont take my son, where will he go???   I think there are still many vacant seats in  HK for P1 2007-8.   In fact, there are over 500 kids will be failed and only 90 kids are passed.  We need to face the true, right!

for the 1st round, there are 120-130 kids chosen out of the 600+ applicants (maybe some give up interview).....so chance is slightly better than expected. Tuesday.....letter will be arrived on Tue :tongue:

I agree tinatam's idea. In addtion, I've been paying much attention to the environment of school which especially includes love atmosphere cultivated inside the school campus, care from teachers & headmaster. It's vital important that parents' reponsibility is to lead children's living (of course, learning included) .
