please share what is the "Password # and Test #" mentioned in the "P.1 English Scheme of Work (1st Term)08-09"
What's it use for ?

Sorry for my late reply.

little-pig and Bluestar have already typed the answer for you.

For ABC, my original thought was for American born Chinese only.
But Bluestar has extended it a bit more to include Australian born Chinese.

What's it use for ?

Password = quiz
Test = (small) test.
The marks will be counted under "on-going assessments" in report in both cases - you can check that from the marking scheme, and/or double check with the Engl teachers / class teachers.

The only other thing which counts towards marks for Engl is the Engl Project during Term 1 and Term 2 Exam.
You will be given a very detail set of requirements and format for this Engl Project, which includes some cut and paste (with glue and scissors, not on PC).

For Term 1 test period, there is no Engl test for P1 kids, and they read story books instead, i.e. the kids will only have Term 1 test on Chin, Maths and GS.

It's confirmed that Ms. Lee resigned. She needs to go back to Australia. Ms. Nitta is replacing her for the time being. My daughter is a bit disappointed when she know  Ms. Lee is not coming back anymore.She said Ms. Lee is very nice. But she said Ms. Nitta is very nice too.

Yes, it's bad to hear that Ms LEE had resigned.
Ms Nitta just replaces  Miss LEE before a new teacher is recured.....that means the kids have to change English teacher again

I'm afraid you need to ask principal or other P2 and P3 parents, cos we didn't have password / test when piglet was in P1.

But I guess it should be Engl vocab which the kids learnt in class.  See if they have any vocab sheets or worksheets, maybe from these.

昨天負責的老師有 call 我, 我本來選了星期四, 但開不到班, 她問我是否可改去星期一. 其後我跟她傾談了一會, 結果選了 2nd choice 的柳琴.
因為我問Ms Soo如果在家無琴, 可否在學校practise, 她說不是太方便, 她說琴一定要買, 因為不在家練, 很難記得這麼多線.  而柳琴同揚琴的價錢相差很大, 加上屋企都容不下個琴, 所以都是幫阿女選了柳琴.
I think the instrumental class will start on 6 /10 may be, because teacher need time to prepare the notice to the parents.

我都收到Miss Soo 電話通知，仔仔學二胡班，星期五2:30-3:30pm 時間ok, 同班仲有一位同學一齊學，好開心見到有咁多同學選擇中樂。

Tingmum，ononbaby, 你地小朋友好番未呀，祝早日康復。

1E 班早前已經收到Miss Tse 的 imail, 將 lunch time video 放上yahoo. 見到好多同學都未能夠食晒lunch box  D 飯。 仲叫我地可以每人帶1隻CDR或DVDR 給她，COPY 畀我地留念，真係好！

舊年的開學日，及 lunch time 都有出現在 campus TV, 但係今年既就仲未見到喇。

My son was sick and has not went to school since 19th until 25th.  So, he skipped some class/homeworks.  Could any 1A's parent tell me what's the homework of 詞語(四) and 詞語(五)?  Thank you very much.

My son enrolled fencing and badminton, but he is unsuccessful to join these 2 classes.  It seems that many students join the sports interest class.  How about yours?

Little pig,
English password just like a small simple quiz. If my memory is correct, it's usually a page only. It just like a small revision.  If your kid pay attention in english lessons, it shouldn't be a problem for her to answer all the questions correctly. :D
