We are struggling to stop Kumon Maths/Eng since I found kids may find easier to have one learning system so EC has them all. Would any of you give any comments , appreciated.

We have some problem at home could everyone have it but still want to share:
Daughter refuse to do homework Friday night and we start loss our control to force her finally she got punished and cried however when we think about that it was Friday night and we just gave her about 30minutes and lost our control and we did something wrong. I beleive everyone has to take rest after a long week. ??? Not sure??? Pls share any good way to go. Thanks,

小兒沒有出現過不肯做功課的情況，但星期五，我會讓他選擇是周五做完全部功課或是只做一半，另外一半留待周六/日才做，有時佢會選擇周五晚做完，有時會選擇只做一半。我們會先告訴他周末有甚麼節目，如果將功課留待周末才做，就可能會縮短他可以玩時間，讓他自己衡量。直至現時為止，我都尚未試過因他不肯做功課而發怒。

由於小兒仍有一些習慣有改善的空間，如遲睡、食飯慢、做功課慢、偏食等，我將於十月起在家中實行好寶寶獎勵計劃，類似EC的好學生計劃，鼓勵小兒改善行為，希望可以收到成效。

regarding doing homework on friday,
we also try to ask our son to finish on friday, so that we don't have to worry the homeworks in the weekend.
We like to have some fun in the weekend instead of doing homework.

but if he can't finish all ('cos he has piano lesson on friday night), i'll let him do it on saturday.

may be in between homework, you can let your daughter to play or rest for 15min., so that she won't need to do them all at once.

佢都吾鐘意食野,吾食野都吾會覺肚餓嗰d黎架,自從佢返左學之後吾鐘意食疍,真係吾明點解啊!食noodles都好小小,不過吾可以餐餐都係架嗎!

tks for your sharing. as i've the similar problems too. my son doesn't like doing hw.  it's really difficult to get him started. or in the middle, he is easy to get angry / frustrated if i point out his mistakes. he is not that willing to listen to others.
if my husband see this happen, he will use his "power" to force him to follow. .. which make my son really angry (keep crying and writing) which make me feel very bad.

i really want to find a peacful way to solve this out.
my husband is out tonight and i need to revise eng test , doing hw , .. with my son .... really a headahce.

我是在職媽咪!我現在新請嗰個工人都從未湊過new born baby架,不過佢話佢肯學,同埋有我媽咪係樹幫手,我就放心好多!咁你是全職媽咪嗎?如果冇人幫手睇baby只得工人,我諗你請過有經驗湊過new born baby會好好多,不過我細妹之前係出面想揾一個有經驗既工人,難到不得了啊!現在d印印都choice工黎做啊,吾鐘意湊baby!

唔駛唔該，都係打個電話啫！我想問下EC英文會用嗰套Scholastic & Literacy Place係需要我地另外買，還是學校會提供俾學生架呢？

我個仔隻腳已經冇事啦，都結晒蕉囉，阿仔上個星期話我知，你仔仔好勁呀，兩個腳都損左都仲可以跑到！

老師打電話俾我時同我講，我個仔話係自己跌倒，但係係屋企佢第一次同我講係同學仔拉跌佢，不過唔知佢叫咩名，第二日我再問佢，佢話其實佢知道係邊個同學仔（講左個名俾我聽），佢唔想再同佢玩，因為驚佢再拉跌佢，咁我同佢講，同學唔係故意要拉跌你，你跌損左佢都會唔開心，如果你仲要唔同佢玩，佢就會更加唔開，如果下次再有同學仔拉你，你可以叫佢唔好拉你，因為你試過咁樣跌損左好痛，咁同學就唔會再拉你啦！

對工人唔要求得咁多，只要佢對阿仔好，其他野我都可以隻眼開隻眼閉，好彩我地食野要求都好低下，阿仔食飯冇乜問題（只係慢啫），我都唔識煮野，幫不上忙啦！

咁樣唔掂喎，唔食野對個胃唔好架，如果佢真係鍾意食麪，或者你可以諗下一、三、五食麪，二、四食飯咁又得唔得呢。

教細路真係一門高深的學問，個個細路都唔同，宜加的細路又比我地細個時醒好多，真係要見招拆招，EQ低D都唔掂呀！
