I wonder why they don't issue the "reject" letter now so that we won't be "15/16". I am happy to know if rejected/accepted for 2nd interview now.

如果第一次in就失敗, 那就最多只會用兩個信封, 有2000人報名, 即他們有1800個沒用的回郵信封, 共有$2520郵費。

Very proud of BK moms can be amused yourselves during this hard time.  To me, I tried not to think anymore after my son interview but failed.  I was always wake up during 3:00 - 4:00am without reasons.  Maybe I am too stressed.

RELAX! Take it easy! I was very sad on saturday,but now alright!
Think again, 120/2000,the chance is slim.
Think more, it's not a fair game from the beginning..............................................
70% related parties, and 30% non related parties to the school BUT some reserved to those "important" ppls. If your kid is smart+good performance in interview+ good pofolio+he/she is THE TYPE THE SCHOOL IS LOOKING FOR,he/she maybe the lucky one.
I heard from a teacher of SPCC last yr," Really don't understand the criteria of selection, we saw some really very smart children in the interview but finially failed,but some very "呆"and seems not so response finally accepted."
If anyone who can have a chance for 2nd IN,

I just passed by SPCC this morning and saw some parents+kids were attending the 2nd interview this morning and nearly all of them have drivers drove them to school.   No hope for us la

I have checked with my friend who is working in SPCC and she said they are still sending out the letter for 2nd interview.  They will call he parents within these 3 days for the 2nd interview arrangement.  Today is the first date of the interview.

Please calm down...relax...TAKE A DEEP BREATH FIRST...I guess most of you won't only apply 1 school for your kids...so don't be so tense la...You should think that if the school don't take your kids, then it is their loss!

Right... I am also interested to know how can they be sure about the ratio - Related: Unrelated = 70% (max): 30% (min).

Does it mean that they may actually interview all those "related" first and select a maximum of 84 students (i.e. 120 x 70%) - Phrase 1, then interview and select the "unrelated" ones to fill up the remaining seats - Phrase 2.

But there could be some overlaps between the two phrases.

If my guess is right, it is not surprise that apparently no BXXXX applicants here in BK has got the 2nd interview letter...

Just a guess.

Dear all,

As my friend is a very close colleague with the Principle.  I have already called her 3 times after my son interview. It's so embarassing to ask her the details information at this stage.   

She just asked me to wait for the call and the letter within these 3 days.  If there is no call, means we are fails.   (She even didn't know my son's chinese name, so I think she has no idea my son is on 2nd interview or not).
