What a great trip to “Window of the World”!
The weather on that day was really terrible. It rained almost all day. We needed to wear raincoats all the time. Yet, we still became wet ducks. Until the end of the trip, the yellow sunshine came out to say good-bye to us. However, it didn’t affect the mood of the kids, they did enjoy it.
I found it was a very good training to our kids. Not only to learn the culture and geography of the other parts of the globe, but also to train them keep walking on a difficult path. Actually, the time was very tight to cover the whole “world” in four hours, we have to walk and walk and walk for the whole day even under the heavy rain. For my family, we covered the whole “world” just in time. Luckily, the digital cam and the camcorder still worked although they were all wet, we took many photos and video for the project.
The most impressive part of the trip was the scene in the coach when we were on the way back. At that time, when all the mums and dads were wet and exhausted, but our kids were still burning with unlimited energy. I really didn’t know where their energy came from. They talked loudly, played around, made joke, shared the snack, and finally they sang the school song, class song, shouted the class slogan, and also all the other P.1 classes slogans……..
What made them so energetic?? By common sense, they should love the school, the mode of learning and their friends very much.
