Anson上星期四.五和今天都沒上課,明天應該也不會.因為他還是有時候會發燒,不是很穩定,怕到時候上課到一半,還要去接他回來

Stafford Mums,

Any idea of the graduates going to which Primary School.  I like Stafford a lot, but not sure the result of P1 applications.

It is time for me to make the final decision for my kid who will be attend K1 in this Sept.

When I met Ms Chan of Stafford last time, she mentioned quite a number of students went to CKY & 陳守仁.... do you know if that's true? Personally, I like these 2 schools very much. As you know, the class size in Stafford is so small, wonder how she can comment admission to these 2 schools is high. I'm afriad she "blow water" only.

I paid site visit to Stafford the other day.  Ms Chan was very patient.  I was as impressed as before.  She demonstrated some phonics, Cambridge English and Jet Set computer materials for my sight. Also, Stafford kids got even better CE and JS results this year.  Last time it was reported to be 13.x shields but this time nearly 14 shields.  好叻！

I was impressed by the way they conducted the PE classes, the helpfulness of teachers and the joy amongst the little ones.  They were all so happy and waved hands with me when I peeked in.  

They hv refurbished the playground.  Very nice, clean and tidy. My son loved playing there and did not want to leave.   

Ms Chan told me that York 'selected' bright students from York to study in Stafford as from K2.  And the selection is very competitive.  This year they had admitted one St Cat pupil and even some from other famous kinders.  Are any of you aware of such?

Ms Chan told me that many Stafforders have been admitted to SPCC, 3 girls in DGS, 1-2 DBS , 聖芳濟各, quite some to Choi Ki Yau and 陳守仁.

I tend to send the kid to St. Cat. I gave us Kentville's seat, and not willing to withdraw from Stafford yet.
Can you remember the no. of student in Stafford K1? Stafford is English / Chi / Mandarin, right?

As per Ms Chan, the number of K1 students admitted depends on the available classrooms. In 2006, they tend to have 2 K1 classes, which means approx 30-40 new students.

我是K3的家長, 我們今年經過了緊張的考小學試, 我們班的小朋友很多個考到陳守仁,蔡繼友, 九龍塘, 宣道,培僑,禮賢,聖方濟各等等, 而且, 都有超過2個以上的選擇,照我所知, 好似個個小朋友都有學校了.

A very impressive school indeed!  

I think you can tell from the cheerful & confident faces of the kids in Stafford that they enjoy their school life though some people may comment that its stress on the academic achievement like Cambridge exam, etc.

How is the English Standard?  Speak Fluent English? Read & Write?
How about Mandarin then?
Most kids attend full day class from K2?

你決定未？英文應該係Stf的强項，PTH每周2堂30分鍾。K2全日制好似唔夠比K1的學生上。記得Ms Chan是這樣說的。下年會加非洲鼓為全日班課外活動。你去觀課多一次吧！
