DGJS 今日開始 2nd Interview

DGJS student seems very active. Upto now, I m still missing their student well spoken english. (I m not kidding, I m also come from the well brand name secondary school, but most of us can't hv such well spoken english)

My daughter also does not have GH offer.....but that's because I did not apply

no offer from GH too.  got offer from GT, WKF, TN, SFA but none of them are on our piority list... sigh~~  hoping to have good new from KTS, CKY and of course DGJS la.

I went to SFA, HKTL and Finally GH on that SAT, crashing SPCC.

By the way, just sharing, no special meaning.
When my girl went for the interview at GH, the teacher asked whether she has went for the DGJS 1st Interview or not, and even asked her for the interview content. My girl of course said yes with interview content told. She came out late than the other girls at same slot. That's give me a feeling that, they are filtering ...... sort of such girl type.

I feel upset after knowing such q from my girl ... as applying DGJS =/= must accept by DGJS ma ..

I got GH offer coz my daughter is from it's kindergarten, hehe.  

Sorry b4 head, I don't believe the GH teacher will ask such question.  The class teacher of my daughter knows we got DGJS 2nd interview (b4 result of GH primary).  The administration staff even knows we borrow the original school reports out for some reasons (no need to tell, everybody knows what's going on!).  So, I don't think GHP will mind & scan the DGJS type girls out.

It's my opinion, only, please don't mind if u don't think the same.

Not worry .. I don't mind ...
The teacher really asked such question during interview, as my girl told me this when we are still in the GH Hall .. (once she came out and saw me) ...(I'm surpirsed in fact !)

But anyway .. I think we may fail for other reasons (and really too limited space for outsider) ... as I said, I just want to share this, to evaluate how much is the chance for getting acceptance from waiting list.

So admire you have secured the GH while waiting for DGJS lei ~

Just want to reveal I'm one of the hidden members who pushed the hit rate here~~~

I really appreciated all of your sharing which could tell me more details about the 2nd interview as my girl didn't tell me much (That's why I said nothing here )

No worry, the reason  should be too less seat for outsider, it's not a matter of your girl capability :)

yes we should applaud our girls for doing a good job - 492 out of 2,400 candidates, that's 20%!

I always say if I were the one who had gone for the interview I would probably not have gotten to second round :-p

the little girls' accent are so good

No matter we got offer or not, we should be proud of our daughter who got 2nd interview from 2,500 people, this should be definitely a smart girl in our heart, right? Thank you all mom to share your valuable opinions/comments in this corner.

1. Same for my girl who is on waiting list for GH.

2. Her classmate who get offer from GH has no second interview for DGJS.

sure wanna got offer from DGJS but just wonder if there'd be too competitive for my girl. Think u all noticed the stress on hk children nowsdays in recent news?!!

I think GH really doesn't like 行步路都"彈下彈下"好"活潑"FEEL的一種, because when my girl finished her interview, she saw me and then 彈下彈下 to walk to me, and then a teacher told her not to jump!   Ha ha.  So I am not surprised that she is on waiting list.

Ha ha, yes, I started to pay attention to our hit rate these few days.  It is another kind of exciting game - to switch my mind from always thinking about the DGJS result ..... ha ha ha  

Let's continue to push ....... even though I may not get the offer, I can have another achievement  

(I am sure I have become mad now ...)

Yes, convent school is more conservative.  So, I am afraid my daughter can't adapt the school life if finally studying in GH, haha!
