My girl always asked me to write the 1st and 2nd word character for her, and then she wrote the 3rd one herself now.

My son knows how to write his name now but Miss Lee reminded me whether "已" in the last word of his name (熙) should be with 勾 or not. KV's version is without 勾 which is different from that printed on my son's HKID.

They sang a song during the Mandarin lesson today:

我的家庭真快樂，
有妹妹，又有哥哥。
我的爸媽都愛我，
大家快樂笑哈哈。

They learnt subtraction (-6) today.

For the English word "box", they'd learnt "I put my pencils in the box".

Bow-tie? You mean the art & craft? My son asked me to make a butterfly for him! The girl from K2B taking the same school bus also said so.

Yes, my kid said butterfly also. But we hv not made it yet.
U know, th most i 'hate' for KV is Parent - Child Art & Craft as i m poor in this.

Haha, me too! Not only me, daddy is poor in art & craft too! Unluckily, Calix inherited this from us and his poor drawings always make me laugh!

My son said kids in Moon Group was asked to draw a snail on the drawing paper received today while those in Star Group was asked to draw a flower. He forgot what was asked for Sun Group. Just wonder the teachers need all these drawings (including the butterflies made last week) for notice board decoration.

A new English reader ("Water, please") was distributed today and they don't need to bring the old one any more.

My son said they had mental today with 2 questions on subtraction.

The teachers said they can wear 中國服 during Friday's party.

My son had gone to the computer room yesterday...playing 垃圾分類 game（藍/黃/啡）.

Did your kids mention about 運動會? My son mentioned it since last week...yet, sometimes he said it's on 24 Feb; sometimes it's in March; and yesterday he told me it was held yesterday already (of course I didn't believe him lah!). I asked which sport did he play and he said running & bean bag. Maybe it's just something done during PE lesson.

It's confirmed that exam paper & report will be distributed tmw and they are asked to bring the school bag (instead of their own bag) to the party tmw (to avoid the exam paper & report getting folded).
