我明年可能會去地利亞幼稚園(己交留位費) 或 繼續留在Think, 其實我報了好幾間幼稚園, 崇真, Victoria, KBCK, ESF Tsing Yi, YMCA, 其中崇真&Victoria都取錄但我去過Interview後，都係決定放棄，其餘的都未有消息.

can you tell me why are you 放棄 Victoria ??you think they are not good enough? i want to get more comment on the kinder.  becoz i have apply this for my son as well.... thanks~~

What do you don't like of Victoria?  I think you're talking about the one in HoManTin.  My colleague's daughter has been accepted for English+Mandarin class.

If KBCK, ESF Tsing Yi and YMCA also accept your son's application, which one you'll take?

Is 地利亞幼稚園 located at Mei Foo? Is it better than Think?  Would you mind sharing why you choose it?

2.我先生又唔係好鍾意Victoria 的上學情況老師太美國化(這不是指美式教育)日日好似開party(說話方式太誇張)，面試當日有個外籍老師唱歌跳舞時太投入 “fing”到條 “bin” 都 “nut” 埋又撞到家長及小朋友都唔理>>>>>只是他個人意見(因為他以前美國讀書)我都好難向妳解釋明白。

If KBCK, ESF Tsing Yi and YMCA also accept my son's application, 都係好難選擇...因為全部都無中文學的,只有少少普通話...正如Think的international class一樣無中文! 這是一個大問題! 我最初報這幾間是因為見我樓上樓下有幾個小朋友都讀得好好(佢地好"醒")但唔識中國字!!

(只是面試和交留位個日去過,印象幾好,可能人少面試時老師很耐心地為每一個家長介紹學校,小朋友都開心,k2-k3有少少功課做)

Yes, PM class.  My colleague also doesn't like PM class but her husband wants Mandarin.  I also don't like they only have PM class which is not flexible.

My boss's twins were accepted by TsingYi ESF and would be started school from Jan05.  However, he's decided to give it up as he wants his twins learn Chinese.  He'll probably let his twins go to international primary/secondary school later, but he believe Chinese is very important now.

Thanks, jujuy.  We also want our kids to learn more Chinese as well as develop good English foundation before studying in international schools or going overseas.  That's why we do not consider Tsing Yi ESF.  I also give up SC as I want my girl to learn more English in Think's whole day school.

For Victoria, they don't have bilingual/international combination for whole day school.  So I may not consider it as well.

I don't know about Delia kinder at Mei Foo.  In my memory, Delia primary does not have good reputation, so I have not got any information about it.  I don't know their current situation, may check it out sometime later.

Seems that we have similar thoughts.  But seems that you want English/ Mandarin combination. Hope to know your final decision later.

Victoria的好處是在k3時只加200-300元學費就可轉下午延長班or全日班,但k1-k2就沒有

You're not 無知的婦人.  Each kindergarten has its own selling points so it's difficult to decide which one is better for our children.

Yes ah, 崇真國際班(普/英)只在下午.

I choose Think as it's near to my mother.  I really want my son to explore more on English.  To me, Manadrin is important but not must be teached daily.  Of course, the ideal class is Chinese + English + Mandarin daily.  Haha!!  I'm so greedy.

In our previous conversation here, it's confirmed that there will be two 30min PTH sessions per week for K1 whole day class.  For half day school, PTH starts at K2.

My mother just told me there's a party for the playgroup on 21Dec (my son is having playgroup on Tue and Thur).

I think the pary on 20Dec is for existing students.

The X'mas music performance and party will be held in the morning on Dec 20, not at night.  All parents are invited to join, this is also the first time for my 2 year old BB to perform, don't know if she can do it well, but she is already singing a lot X'mas songs at home these days, so we just go there and take pictures for the kids la...
