Totally agreed !:cry: It's really difficult to them, they only recognise few words in a whole passage ! And even didn't understand the content. How do they do the 閱讀理解 ?? I don't know how to help her ! During the revision period, both kid & parent have great pressure, that's why some parent let their kids to have tutorial course so early is to keep a better relationship

Help! Help!

My girl was sick and did not go to school this morning and did not get the 常識作業 back for revision.
The teacher asked me to go to school and take it, but my husband is overseas and my girl is having high fever, I'd rather stay with her at home to look after her.

Can anyone scan 常識作業 Ch. 1-4 and e-mail me?

小三開始既SCIENCE, 你就知道乜野叫做深。

不過, 如果囡囡捱到, 佢地既STANDARD一定比其他學校既小朋友高幾班, 唔付出, 係唔會有收獲架

Is your daughter okay now? Drink more water and take some rest in between studying ... My father is studying english grammar with my daughter now...Aiiiiii.... really high pressure. I asked my daughter to get 95-100 in each subject, then i will buy her a gift (as i didn't buy her things often before). I mean if she can get 95-100 in one subject, i will buy her one gift ....If she can get 95-100 in all 4 subjects, then i will buy her 4. Of cos i need to be the gift is useful. Since it is the very first time for them to face the test in primary school ..... we should let them to have some careless mistake and my target is at least 85 in each subject. Is it too high or normal for them???

She woke up 4:45pm and started revising, but even after taking panadol, 100.6C, so I think she will have to go back to sleep very soon.
If she still has fever on Monday, do I need to see doctor again to get medical cert in order to take a day off.  Will there be make up tests or the school will just put absence on her report?

I just hope that my girl can maintain average marks, at least not to be the bottom 1/3 of the class.  Because my girl was born in Nov and is a bit younger, so I don't put high hopes on her.

oh god.... she must be very sick... i think there is no replacement for the test ... but then as what you said take it easy n let her take more rest, then go thru once the syllabus. Hope she feels more comfortable when she wakes up tomorrow morning. My daughter need to go to Chinese Dace in SHCC tomorrow morning (the first time), then will come back home study and study .....

Ha ha, finally no more fever.

But when she was still 103C at 5:00am this morning, I asked her up to feed her panadol, she said she wanted to do pupuchun and a passage a day, etc.  Right after she finished all four webs, she went straight to bed again.

I just come back from SHCC (finish chinese dance) and she is now taking her lunch. Right after will take shower for her and start studying la .........

She likes pupuchun very very much!!
She is now watching TV.  A kid cannot concentrate on studies for more than 15 minutes.

小囡今年小六啦, 我都好明白你地既感受, 因為當年我都係咁教我個囡

每次默書都早成幾日就幫佢讀默, 測驗、考試一定請假溫書, 做卷比佢, 由二年級開始已經係咁, 我個word file分開中、英同常識(數學就剩係買練習比佢做, 每個學期二本, 共四本), 有成十幾個file架啦, 我真係做卷都卷到厭。

但係如果唔係咁"陪太子"讀書, 個囡成績都唔會好(上次呈分試失手, 而家佢成績屬於中游分子)

希望佢下年升中後, 我唔洗再跟啦, 但係又輪到個小一囝啦

I think they should have the words in the testpaper n no need to remember. But of coz for safe, we should let them to remember all in case there is nothing for you to choose

oh dear, P6 already... we all have to wait 6 more years.   

So how about the result & performance of your daughter? Is that what you said in middle range?  My aughter has 32 classmates in class (which means 33 students). I hope she can be top 12 la .... Honestly, i don't want her to be the most understsanding in class as those need to study and study all day long (no more activities/rest/tv time anymore). I don't want her to be like that.
