1. How to define level 1, level 2, and level 3?

By Number of books/materials the kids read and marked on the reports.  The numbers on each level is the minium requirements.

2. Are item A, B, C exclusive? In other words, do books read under the item A and item B count in items C?

All items are exclusive.

For item A, the materials must be from "School library" and then defiined as Books, magazines or non-books materials (like VCD, PC-games).  Which are items 1 to 3.

For item C, this is for books from classroom's bookshelf, your own purchase or from public library.  If the books are in Chinese, they are item 6.  If the books are in English, they are item 7.

For item B, it is as stated on the notice.

Please read carefully on the "Details of each item" from the notice.  It stated very clearly how to define the item 1 to 7.

All items should be stated clearly on the self-learning & reading scheme report.  By the end of year, the total numbers will be counted and those achieved the requirements will be given a small gift.

PE 課會幾時正式上?

PE lesson will start from next week.  So, if there is a PE lesson on your girls's time table on Monday and Wednesday.  She needs to wear the PE uniform and the sport shoes on these 2 days.

Many thanks for your advice on the first official week's arrangement (e.g. advice for PE class).  While for the main courses, should we bring the textbooks in the first week even though without teacher's instruction marked in the handbook, or just following the timetable to bring all textbooks.

Bring the text books & exercie books as the time-schedule, unless there is special instructions from the teachers.

So, for English, bring 1A. For Chinese, 一上(一), etc..

件風褸是冬季校服, 好似唔可以着呀！要着白色件外套.  驚唔夠暖就在PE衫內加件背心衫啦.

我記得去年亞女冬季時上PE堂, 着了件啡色外套再加風褸.  都俾老師話唔啱.  

總之, 要保暖的衫就先穿作打底, 外加校服.  各位要揾定那些超薄防寒的衣物. 凍到得8度C (去年清晨好似低至這個温度)都係校褸、冷衫加長褲咋 (14度C或以下可着長褲), 最多加埋頸巾及手套.  唔似其他学校可以着羽絨.

Oh I see. The term "level" refers to the level of achievement by the student.  I mis-interpreted the term as "the level of difficulty" of the book.

主要是PTA明白每個MCS的新小一家長會對女兒在MCS學習或多或少都會有些疑慮.  所以部份PTA的成員會講述他們各自對女兒在學習上及親子關係上的一些心得及看法.  會上亦提供發問時間.  最後會鼓勵家長(分班)互相交換聯絡電話.  

我覺得都值得去的.  因為會聽到高年級的家長的經驗分享.  細心去聽、去想, 是應該會有得着.  而且有機会見見其他家長.
