Thanks for your feedback.  Hang Hang is a "slow heat" boy.  Once he get used to an environment, he will show his true temperament!  I just hope that by end of the school term, he will not get all "circles" jei!      I will go to school to take Hanghang this Friday, will have chance to discuss it with the teacher.

Horace told me it's Jaime's b-day today and he has eaten the birthday cake you bought to school.  Thanks a lot for the little bear biscuit as well.  My son enjoyed a lot.

hmm...according to my mum, justin was very quiet at the dress-up party ~~ he was always sitting there on that day...i just see Justin, who was sitting there, on one photo...but anyway, thanks for your photos and i'm happy to see so many cute cute cute dressed-up baby!!!!

we've discussed with the Miss Wong already~
What makes me even more nervous was that Justin got more circles in the Oct evaluation.  He got a star in "getting along with classmates" in Sept, but then he got a circle in Oct...

I 'm scared that he may not be willing to share with others, and sometimes he doesn't answer others when others greet him...

Then Miss Wong commented that he's getting more stable now...cos at first he was always walking around when others are paying attention to the teachers....
but overall, Miss Wong said he's not as mature as others...still like a baby...

But this week, his emotion is more stable...hopefully he'll get better used to school life~~

YES~Miss Wong did mention about that,
cos we asked her why justin got a circle on "getting along with others", Miss Wong said because Justin seems to become more familiar with other classmates, and when they are more familiar with one another, they may have very small disputes...

Horace is 冼俊言.  Don't worry, Horace got one more circle as well in Oct.  Yes, I saw Justin on Tues but he was sleeping... Ms Wong hold him all the way until your mum came to pick him up.  He didn't wake up all the way.  Your mum saw me and talked to me too!!

Thanks!  Horace's speech is a lot better than Jaime, he told you it was Jaime's bday & they had a mini party?  Jaime cannot tell me what's going on at school yet...however when I showed her some photos taken of the children, she recognised "Sin Chun Yin" wor!

Hi All,

Last time when I was updating with Miss WONG, she told me that they will stop sticking short notes on the plastic file to tell parents what are children supposed to bring back school for class.  They said they need to train them to talk by themselves.

Last Fri when I asked Andrew what are they supposed to bring for this week, he told me it's something spicy/hot.  I donno what he means?  Does anyone know? Please help!

Dear SKH (Central) Moms,

My kid is studying in SKH (Mt. Butler).  From what I see in this column, I got an impression that the teachers in Central are more nice and will take the initiative to approach the parents to talk about their kids.  Teachers in Mt. Butler are rather young and new, and seems more "cold" comparatively.  I don't mean they are not good though, as I do very appreciate their way of teaching is quite unique.  At first I thought they didn't care about the kids even they kept crying, but later I found that the teachers were actually carefully observing each one of them and then 對症下藥.  I send my kid to school everyday and I do see many of the "big cry" kid become more calm and independent in a short period of time.

Do you have friends' kids studying in Mt. Butler?  Have you compared if there's any big differences?  As I never see any notice for bringing anything to school.  Even I called the teachers to ask, they still say no need to bring anything.

My son also is studying in Mt Butler.  But I found that the teachers of my son's class are very good and nice to talk to parents.  They not only sent emails to me and also phoned to me if there were any problems/enquiries of my son.  

If they need the kid to bring anything to school, e.g. collecting some leaves from garden for drawing, they will stick a memo in the handbook or the plastic file.

From what you said, seems the teaching schedule and the method of the 2 schools are similar wo.
Teachers in Central even didn't accept communication by email tim! (I've asked them for their email account before).
