可以，但要直聯絡給firm offer的大學，唔可以再透過UCAS Tracking做，因為考試結果已經出咗，大學已經自動留位俾你。當然，你到期唔交錢(學費/宿費)都會無咗個位，但喺咁做有D不負責任，亦會破壞英國大學對香港學生的印象。

請教各位家長，孩子預算2018年9月入大学，那17年9月要準備報名UCAS事宜，IELTs 成绩要在手。那IELTS 要何時考？這考試的成绩有效期为兩年，是如何計算？是否要cover 到18年9月入学，因恐怕失手要retake. 早一點考好有預備。謝謝各位家長。

要唔要IELTS唔同大學唔同學科有唔同要求，最好上大學網頁睇清，記住除咗睇大學一般收生要求外，仲要睇埋個別學科要求，因為有D學科會有個別的要求，千祈唔好睇漏。
由於IELTS有效期只有兩年，太早考無著數。2018年9月入英國大學，大約2017年初可以開始報考。如果在香港考，每個月都有3次考試，無須担心唔夠時間重考。

另外請留心2015年4月6日起海外學生申請TIER4學生簽證時，英國簽證處只承認IELTS for UKVI考試，這是簽證要求，與大學收生無關。IELTS for UKVI都有Academic option，供報考大學之用，但有部份大學唔承認，仍要求舊制IELTS Academic option。都喺嗰句，請小心睇清楚大學網頁的收生要求，唔清楚不妨寫email俾大學問清楚，亦可以向香港BRITISH COUNCIL 查詢。

最後請留意好多大學會因應學生報讀學科、就讀中學、公開考試報考學科和成積，豁免英語入學要求，而且會在UCAS document中註明，申請簽證可無須出示英語能力證明，故此有學生喺唔駛考IELTS，但情況因人而異，一定要check清楚。

只係選定confirm 和 insurance offers。

Both of them are good. But watch out the pre-registration requirement for overseas (HK) student studying Pharmacy in UK. Read the following link

Again like Medicine, without pre-registration training, graduate is just a graduate with pharmacy degree, not a pharmacist.

兩間都係頂級大學，但個人覺得Nottingham稍勝，除咗英國本土及國際排名外，最重要喺在Nottingham
修畢學位後可以有實習的保證，因為英國政府要求海外生修畢藥劑學位後要找到一份年薪20,700英鎊的實習工作，才批實習簽證，實習完成才有專業資格。唔清楚UCL有冇實習保證。

Nottingham is just kind of tricky to deal with the pre-registration training requirement. They provide a 5 year degree course, with two 6-months training in between.

"Please note that for all students the pre-registration element of the five-year programme is unsalaried and tuition fees will be payable to the University for each year of the course. The two six-month placements may not be located near Nottingham and students will be responsible for arranging their own accommodation."

In stead of receiving the salary for training (at lease £20,710), student need to pay the extra year of tuition fee of
£19,120. That means student will need to pay the extra £39,830 to secure this year of training. Worth it or not, up to you.
