what if i don't take the offer? will my 2nd child be blacklisted?

Yes that's what I heard. they blacklist the whole family if you don't take the offer or quit in the middle.

所以呀, 我大仔讀緊PN, 因為還有一個細的, 完全唔敢諗轉校呀, 基本上, 無考過任何一間K1, 因為轉左校個細嘅好大鑊呀.

他們這樣做令家長很無奈，但我覺得這個做法亦無可厚非。我去年有問過老師有什麼方法可以增加收siblings的機會，她很直接的告訴我要看面試表現，沒有必收方法，但是如果大的退學，小的就一定不會收。在學校的立場，PN的小孩，要教他禮貌，自理能力，都是很花氣力的事，學校栽培了，最終在外面考到其他學校，而不留在Victoria，老師都覺得很可惜。
我很感謝她直接的告訴我，而不是給我一個很”動聽“的答案。

既然知道了，就要自己衡量，學校究竟好不好，值不值得為了小的去讀。不夠好的話，乾脆不考，也說不上對小的有什麼影響。所以我反而覺得她這樣告訴我，可能比任何一間學校都大方，起碼我可以有準備去加緊考其他學校。

有siblings同校而得到優先加分，是普遍學校的做法。現在這“減分”情況只不過是一個反面。在求過於供的情況下，何不給機會其他表現同樣好而又是家中的first child呢。

只怪這幾年的競爭真是太大了。

I still haven't the result letter but I have already called to checked the result. my son just got waiting, should I keep calling school to mail the result letter again??

我咪又係囉，細仔真係叻好多，pg老師成日讚佢醒目(當然唔係good job good boy excellent 之類果D standard 鼓勵說話），叫親出去做乜都成日有佢份，星期五朝早上堂個老師仲笑笑口問我收到信未，其實我心諗你知道我大仔最後去在邊間K1實凍過水啦，結果真係。

要找之前application太簡單啦，有excel之類既database架嘛。

另外，𣎴要睇少有些老師有超乎想像的認人記憶力，我大仔以前係某KG的pg上堂，基本上是我帶呀仔去上堂，daddy極少出現，那位老師由我大仔1y敎到1.5y轉工走左唔知去左邊，一宜冇見過，我大仔宜家4歲啦，今個月初daddy帶細仔去in某pn，突然有個老師問佢＂第二名?＂我老公呆左望住佢，因唔知佢係邊個所以都唔知佢問乜，跟住佢就介紹自己話佢係xxx(即我大仔個名）以前喺yyy(即校名)play group 個老師。

你話驚唔驚嚇?

咁講我真係嚟緊仲有細佬，而家 vic 收咗都冇得諗咁多，讀一年走又 blacklist，唔讀又 blacklist，都要頂硬上讀架啦，就算有 St Paul offer 都唔知點算.....

我個case係好明顯，我大仔冇讀Vic既pg同pn只是冇take K1個offer, 而且去了一間重學術的KG....

My friend declined Victoria K1 offer for her son two yrs ago but daughter just got PN offer from a different campus, no pg, 2nd interview, no siblings.

其實間間都係，SC ，蘇浙，玫幼，KV，總知有人爭嘅學校又洗乜收啲中途轉校啲 siblings喎！

維記好少唔收弟妹。覺得你encore 都buy佢嗰套。維記好在意你是否贊同它的理念。Second interview 的用意都係為了確認呢點。可能因為咁佢地好唔仲意中途轉走的個案。

My elder son switches to another KG for K1 because he is very quiet, does not fit Vic active culture. (因材施教 ma)
But my younger one is very active.  Also, Vic PN is very good in terms of teacher/students ratio (of course you pay $$$).  That's why I applied Vic PN for him.  However, if you want your kid be independent, Vic K1 may not be a good choice.

Anyway, 此處不留人 自有留人處.  My younger applied another 5 schools successfully (including Creative, Cannam).  So, I deeply believe he is a capable child.  I will let him study one nearby my home.  Hope he can study together with my elder son next year.

BTW, forgot to tell you all.  At the very beginning, I struggled if I filled in elder son's information in the application form.  Then, I called my friend, whose husband works at ExF IT department.  She confirmed that ExF has program to check sibling .....

I have a couple of friends whose elder sibling quit after PN and the younger ones still got in (AM class too).  Parents are not rich, have no connections and are not professionals.  The kids attended PG.

今年嗎?佢地兄姐走左幾耐?學校知道去了那一間KG？如果學校覺得家長適合只是該兄姊性格唔適合該校學校就唔介意。

This year and last year. 3 years gap.  Not sure about if school knows which school they went to.  My point is that the black list thing may not be true.  Or at least it's not 100% true.
