Nothing la... just have a bit fever last night and flu... so get her to rest a bit today.....scare going worst when go to school when still weak.

But my daughter just told me over the phone that next Thur has Chinese dictation on 姓氏歌. Is it true? Would other parents update your understanding from your daughter.

I already crazy about the revision with my daughter recently. She is crying last night before sleep and this morning before goto school that she worries about the Eng quiz today. We have not yet prepared for the assessment start on next Monday. It seems too much pressure on her for this age. I think both of us need a break since I found that my daughter even can't find half an hour to play daily for the past week.

My daughter wrote down 11/11 dictation 姓氏歌 and 男和女.

My daughter too... poor girl.... hope they will get use to it soon.

Bon Pa,

Chinese dictation is 11/11 so as confirmed by other parents, there should be no dictations in next two weeks.  

The case is the same here...my gal cries almost every night when doing homeworks and revisions...she has pressure and so do I...She even tells me that she hate going to school.  She cannot even practise the piano everyday since there are so many homeworks plus quizzes plus tests plus dictations...This is really crazy !

My daughter does not seem to have any pressure.  I am the one having pressure.  I am going crazy.  I know there are a lot of working mothers here.  Do you find it very tiring to look after your daughter's homework, quiz, assessment after work?  It is like my second job......

I am a working mom and taking care of my gal's revisions and homeworks seem like my first job.  I even bring the worksheets to office and tailor-made some for her to do at home.  All those dictations, quizzes, assessments...seem endless.  I feel tired and frustrated at first but now, I have been get used to the routine.  I think everyone of us needs time to deal with this chanllenge...add oil ar !

Thanks for clarification that Chn Dictation is on 11/11. We decided not give my gal too much pressure and trust she can learn from the study at school.

BTW, we help my gal to buy the winter school uniform today and the shops are full of people. Some sizes are out of stock. May be due to next week will become cold la.

Lucky lucky... I got it when I bought the summer cloth last time as too far away.

Also, did the school said when can we wear the winter uniform.....or we can wear it when it is cold ?
