Yes, it just lile yesterday, remeber me? I am the mothter said that my son didn't like go to scholl and cried all day at fist. But now he is very enjoy his school life. he got" 好寶寶獎" ,  and he will transfer to AM class next term.

Anyway thanks all Ma Ma here!

Yes, remember you immediately right after seeing your statement re your son cried a lot at the beginning.  Glad to know your son enjoy his school life now and is so great to have this award.  My girl has no award as expected, haha........but she loves going to school very much which is the most important.

I would like to ask whether k2 should be from 845 to 1145 in the first week of sep? Little brother will just attend 1.5 hrs jar then I hv to wait 1 hr

If K2 3 hours of school on the 1st day, you just stay outside with your small boy and watch how your elder son behaves in class loh, I want to do it every day to watch how my girl behaves in school, just can't as I have to go to work : (

I also want to know if parents are allowed to accompany the K2 kids to school like K1?  If yes, on the 1st day only, or on the first 2 days.......as I want to plan ahead my annual leave.  Tks for letting me know if you have the information.

I hv resigned lu but need 3 mtgs notice so from 19 oct I can day day with kids ：）

Envy you ah........you can observe your kid's lesson more frequently lah.  I have done twice only in the past one year.......and feel soooo happy when I see how my girl acts and how the teachers teach in class.  My girl and her classmates (that I know) will waive hand to me happily whenever they go out of the classroom and see me.

Talking about the mosquito bite, I want to complain ah..  There are horrible swelling in my girl's leg (size of a 5 cents coin) very often as a result of the mosquito bite.......what kind of mosquito it is ah?

Suddenly remember, GIPW, you are a PTA member, kindly pass our concern re mosquito bite to the school so that they can do something to "kill" the mosquito more frequently.  I know they have done it once in May 2010 from the school website.

Hey all mama, happy summer holiday!  Just wonder will the K2 kids start having homework for the first term??  My little one has terrible handwriting... Seems like I have to let him have some practice during summer....

Yes, there will be homework starting from K2 and involve something like copy book writing.......I learnt from a K2 mum before that the homework is still pretty easy and can be finished very quickly.  

Your boy has horrible writing, my girl does not like writing tim, so really a headache.....If have time, it has always been good to train them earlier for easy adoption.

Thanks for the offer. My girl will be in K2C lah.  Actually, I am not worry about her life in school now as she likes going to school so much.  Just hope no big changes with the teachers in Sept.

How come after becoming a mum, the summer vacation suddenly become so short ge? 12 days later, the summer vacation will finish lah.  I remember when I was small, summer vacation seems very long ga.

Do you know when the teacher will call us to inform about the K2 matters?  Just more than one weeks to go, our kids will be promoted to K2.  I am excited and nervous now.

Hey, Speedbox, long time not seeing you in BK lah.  You are still nervous, hahaha.......I don't have this feeling at all tim.  I had it when my girl started PN and K1.

I trust we will receive the call next week. Hope it is from Ms Yuen lah, if not, I will feel disappointed as it means changes of teacher. Originally I want to call the teacher, but no action : )  Still don't know if I should apply leave on the 1st 2 days ah.  If parents are not allowed into the classroom, I will not waste my precious annual leave lah.

If my memory is correct, they should be having normal school hour for K2 from the 1st day la bor.  If so, save your precious annual leave la!

(Though it's better to wait for your teacher's call)

Hiya, I have been longing to go to school with my girl on the 1st day tim.......good ge, I can save my annual leave and go to Ocean park or Disneyland with her during weekday to avoid the crowd : )

i just noticed that the school has deducted the $460 of K2 school fee in August 10, 2010. Does any one know about this? why so early? shouldn't it be collected in Sep ??

Last year, the school also bank-in our K1 Sept fee in August.  So, same practice this year. Actually, the Education Ordinance allows school to collect fee one month in advance.  

So, what you need to check is to make sure the school only collects 10 months' of school fee from us, that is you have to make sure there is no autopay in July. Reminded by you, I have just checked my e-statement, no autopay in 7/2010, so, the school fee of K1 has been properly collected by school.  So, you look out for 7/2011 lah.

Haha, is it because your mandarine is too worse that your son does not understand : )

I tried to do so last Sat too.  It just happened that my niece was sitting nearby (studying in KCS primary).  After hearing my spoken mandarine to my girl, she suddenly said, "Auntie, how come your mandarine is so horrible".  I felt ashamed and asked her to say my words in Mandarine again, well.......after hearing, I admitted my Mandarine should be classified as "poor" .  I think I must hand over my girl's mandarine purely to school to achieve the best result.
