上午校的家長, 你們知唔知道145週年是不是很重要?學校竟然一幾日放學校假期, 用來做排練,我覺得影響學生的上課時間就不大合理,你們是否覺得有點過份?因為快要考試, 好似好多課文還未教.你們點睇?

唔止上午班的呀,下午班同中學都一樣的,佢地係跟足教署放既假,只係係第二度拉黎的,所以唔會放多左假,放心啦

我諗上午校會維持現狀，短期內唔會有變，即使有變，未必會影響到已入讀的學生。

下午校會唔會搬眾說紛紜，未有定論。

你小朋友讀上午定下午？邊一級？

not yet she will be in K1 coming Sept, I just wonder if any change in or before 2008 , then it will affect her change to get to SHCS primary ( private section)

Anyway, I am old girl of shcs but is long long time ago, I still remember when I was in primary, I have at least 6 to 7 pieces of homework everyday and over 10 pieces at weekend, also test or dictation every other day. Do you know whether they are still having a lot of workload now?

下午班想當遊閒,我個女仲成日睇電視

你放心，無咩功課，默書一個星期只有一次 (中英輪流默)。 每日我女三年級計平日最多唔超過5樣功課，仲要係已包括改正，多數係做作業，無咩抄寫功課，通常個半鐘左右可以完成。 假日就多會有2版英文copy book (因為學潦草英文字母)及2版中文書法。

一年在只有2測2考。 平日有quiz及堂課，不過事前無通知的，你都唔知幾時做的，無得預備，亦唔計分落成績表，老師用來評估學生進度。

但是我本人覺得現在的校長晤夠積極, 同以前的校長不同, 功課小, 堂課小, 工作紙亦小了, 我以前一年級的工作紙一本書咁厚? 你們點睇?會否影響學生的質素? 成績會下降, 反而現在的下午校比較進取.

係呀，今年默書少，quiz少，功課更加少。
不過我好enjoy，因為我懶....   
夜晚多了很多時間睇課外書，你地有無訂英文storybooks？真係平靚正。

津校同直資私校大家背負的不同，近年私校直資多偏向減少功課壓力。

聽講上年小三評估成績相當不錯，我唔擔心，我覺得功課重質不重量更好。

會唔會去睇明天的校慶劇？

那裡有平靚正的書買, 可否介紹下, 在那裡買到?其實我好想買一些有中英對照的英文故事書?不過由外國出的故事書比較好看, 精美, 不過好貴.

剛剛欣賞完145週年校慶表現，非常感動。同學們的傑出表現，老師職工及其他人士背後的統籌，我們一眾家長們台下的支持，實在不用說話，已能感受到學校辦學的心及愛，及家長與學生對學校的歸屬感。小小年紀，英語好，有自信，不怯場，大小角色，工作人員，全情投入，反映學校及學生的高質素。我與家人都再一次感到我們的選擇是絕對正確的。

PS 我坐最前排，清楚看到每個小朋友的臉，都是那麼快樂投入。

Hi ladies

I was extremely proud of the children who worked so hard to make the 2 performances a total success!

At 11am yesterday, it was still a mess in terms of how they come out of the stage, standing positions etc.  The dancers were summoned by the teachers to practice again and again in order to ensure that their steps were perfect!

Well done, girls of SHCS (am)!   I am indeed very happy that my girl had the opportunity to participate in the event.  Definitely looking forward to the 150th anniversary.......
