Don't worry. The kids should be alright. The school accept kids to doing wrong academically and will encourage them.
For the level of books/courses, it should be similar to other school. Not too difficult. it's just step by step.
Chinese may be a little bit harder at 2nd term so far while Maths are taught in English which needs some patient to adapt.
