有一種莫名的共鳴
在一月中開始跟仔仔玩閃卡
之後的一星期看完一本書名"Einstein Never Used Flash Cards"
而往後又看完一些有關蒙特梭利教育的書
這樣子的"安排+組合" 令我對小朋友的早期教育更"莫名其妙"
究竟應該停止"閃"  還是開始"蒙特梭利教育"?
就在有疑問的情況下
我停止一切一個星期

原來我哋係同道中人。你BB係仔定女呀？宜家幾大呢？我個女就啱啱9個月。

我亦很同意你所講"幼兒的學習一定要跟"FUN"扯上關係"。所以宜家flash card會被我視為我同阿女之間一種親子活動的工具多過教育工具。i won't care if she can't get any knowledge from the flash card, as long as it's fun and she is concentrating. It's more difficult to train a baby's concentration than to teach her what is rooster, why 100 is greater than 99 etc.

One of the reasons I like montessori education is because somehow montessori way of teaching can train baby's concentration. 而專注力強弱对於日後學習，工作與處事都有莫大的影响。

Thanks for sharing your experiences. They do shed light on the hidden 'goodies' of the Flash Card. Rather than relentlessly expanding a child's vocabulary, both of you noted the pros and cons of the learning approach and have made a good judgment for your own kids.
