真光係未香港近天后區呀?
你可以從以下幾點作考慮;
1) 地區:我現區九龍，所以會簡九龍區
2) 交通: 因你住地區自己評分喇。
3) 環境:真光幼兒園未去過，只去過小學同中學，環境唔錯  有自己泳池同運動場。
聖羅撒>當日見唔到學校有特別設備。
4) 老師: 真光>無in過唔敢俾意見
      聖羅撒>印象麻麻，(可能時間太短，無機會與老師傾談。

這純粹個人意見，希望你會搵到一間適合你小朋友既學校啦

1. 聖羅撒幼稚園幾年前重建了.  現在只是小學部要重建.

2. 那兩格洗手間是訪客用的.  小朋友的洗手間在每層都有.  位置就在近滑梯那邊的樓梯. 地下一層最大, 有兩個, 分男女厠, 內有大約六格小童坐厠, 不過冇門的.

3. 設施唔算多.  不過, 校方都安排好多活動給小朋友. 例如參觀消防局, 科學館, 等等.

4. 基本上, 聖羅撒幼稚園的學生可以用"愉快地學習"來形容. 因為冇考試及默書, 只有評估.  課程唔深, 但因要配合小學部的需求, 個人覺得課程已有加深的傾向.

5. 選擇聖羅撒幼稚園的另一個原因可能是因為它有一所不錯的小學, 雖然是津小, 不能直通, 但有第三輪扣門的機會.

與其說好不好, 不如問自己: 聖羅撒幼稚園是否適合自己的孩子.  及, 聖羅撒幼稚園的課程是否可以配合自己打算為小朋友將來報讀的小學.

For maths, I don't think that's necessary.  Because, for P.1, they will teach the addition & subtraction within 20.  So, it is not really difficult for kids to catch up.  For English,  that will depend on what type of primary school you would like to apply for your girl.  Like my girl, she will go to an English primary school, so it is important for her to build up her English standard, at least in listening & conversation, so I send her to NET teacher for story reading & conversation.  If your target is St. Mary, they use 1 grade up for G.E. text book, so it will be better for your girl to study ahead.  Otherwise, I think the girls should not have big problem in their P.1 study.

While you are online, can you share with me your experience?  

As many mum said, the interview was just short and asked for very standard questions like name, age etc.  How the teacher gives marks?  Will the old girls, catholics having more chances?

which grade is your girl in?  K3 still no dictation?  Is it difficult to adapt when the girls promote to P1 for traditional school having dictation every wk?

I don't know how they give the marks.  Catholic students will have priority.  However, I know one girl who is Catholic applied for it, but failed.  I don't know why.  Don't think that they pick only the eldest girl as there are quite a lot of kids born on November & December.  But when my younger one did the interview, they had a questionaire for us to fill.  I think that one is very important, because the answers tell the school what type of parent you are and what is your expectation of your girl's education.  I do believe that the paper weighted a lot in the mark because the school may choose those parents who share the same or similar education expectation/method with the school.

My eldest one studied in St. Rose and now in P.2, the younger one is now in K3.  They won't have dictation until the 2nd term of K3.  And the purpose of the dictation is for them to adapt the P.1 school life.  They will start to write their own handbook, English & Chinese dictation in the 2nd term of K3, and will have one visit to St. Rose Primary school as a brief introduction of how a primary school classroom will be looked like.

My eldest one can adapt the primary school life very quickly.  I won't say she has no problem at all, because she is studying in an English primary school.  I will only say she is OK, not really bad.  I think kids can adapt very easily and quickly.  The performance may not be as good as those from St. Cat as they are well trainned to do all these paper works.  But I think the girls can catch up.  I know a few of my eldest's schoolmates, who studies in St. Rose Primary are the top 10 in the grade (not only by classes).  Since there are girls from outsiders in P.1, you can assure that our kinders are smart as well.  

St. Rose primary is also a traditional school, most of the kinders will go to study there, so the schools' experience must be that our kinders are OK in the primary section, otherwise, the KG section will not operate as it is now.
