每學期一測一考, 範圍唔會重覆.  平日每2個星期左右都有中英評估 (說話/作文), 不過唔需要溫習, 因為冇範圍.  每星期有一中一英dictation.

2) Do the teachers take a good care of students?
我覺得ok, 不過老師有意無意都要佢地學自理.  eg.  冇網上手冊, 自己唔記得寫好既功課如果冇做就實要寫手冊.  不過寫手冊係"冇後果"既, 只係"嚇"下等家長知道.  我平時都有寫個仔既comment比老師, 佢地都有寫番o係手冊回應 (幾隻字啦).

3) As I know the lesson of native English speaker is just "once" a week, the English standard is high enough?
漸進式.  小一二既英文只佔全部subjects既25%, 小三四就一半, 小五六就75%.  除左平日個nat teacher, 英文堂同General Studies (分中英2部份), 都係用英文教, 小一會再"補一補"用中文講多一次 (係我個仔講既!)  如果係讀international kinder既就一定冇問題, 但如果好似我個仔咁係普通kinder上, 個level就岩岩好, 佢地唔洗好吃力去適應.

4) Other than school fee, any other extra fee I need to pay? How much is it?
一個學期既雜費幾百蚊, 係買exercise books, supplementary ex, 美勞用品等等, 約$600/學期.  另外有lunch (around $200/month), 課外活動好多選擇, 唔係compulsory要參加, 最多建議你參加2個. (有d同外面機構攪既就要收費, 平過外平dd, 另外有d就唔洗$). 仲有平日訂下報紙雜誌, 買運動衫, picnic, 參觀... 都要比$, 不過唔係貴.

一定有.  不過我唔知有幾多人住九龍.  我知有人遠到住西貢同Discovery Bay tim.  有好多架校車, 有去九龍新界, 車費最貴要二千幾.  詳情你可以o係briefing day問下.

=> 3-5樣啦, 功課唔深, 唔計correction, read aloud同網上功課.  網上功課係optional, 唔計入學校分.  如果計埋樣樣少少corrections就睇落好多.  不過如果小朋友有參加課外活動 (即係o係學校留到5pm或者平日放學後要學其他野既話, 咁d時間就唔見洗). 長遠黎講, 都要train個小朋友快手d同小心d.

學校會否十分看重考試成績? 有些學校一科 fail 要留班, 2科 fail 勒令退學  
=> 所有成績都係用分數計, 成績表有排名 (全班+全級).  唔洗科科9字頭.  老師亦唔會因為測驗fail或者dictation fail而特登call你同你講.  當然, 次次fail又另計.  我覺得學校重視成績, 不過亦有空間比你進步.  唔需要因失手而大壓力.

我都幫個女報舊基灣，緊係覺得佢最好啦 ，我最喜歡呢個學校係著重愉快學習，因唔想我的小朋友會怕或者討厭上學。如果我係你當然繼續堅持，在統一派位再選做第一志願，真係唔得咪叩門囉，在叩門時學校會優先考慮在自行分配和派位首選的人。

小一測驗/考試時, 老師會否讀題目? 中文/英文有無unseen dictation? 如有, 會否計在總成績內?  會唔會要回家自學課文, 之後又要測驗/考試?  功課是多worksheet or 多抄寫?

另外, 想問早上幾點打鐘上堂?

Hi Jcmichelle,
Well studied all your comments regarding CCC Kei Wan.  My daughter failed to enter this school in first round and we will keep on selecting it as first choice during lucky draw.  Heard that this school is good at music academic.  Luckily, my daughter has received an acceptance letter from HK Choir and will be starting the course in Jan 07'.   Is it allowed to send them a letter with this in coming months for their furhter consideration?  

I really love this school and think it is suitable for my daughter.  Looking forward to having your comments...thanks in advance.

=> 沒有！小一至小三會原班上，小四再分班，小四至小六都會原班上。

小一測驗/考試時, 老師會否讀題目?
=> 會。

=> 有，一學期一次，佔很少很少分。

=> 不需要自學課文，但會寫手冊叫同學預習課文。

=> 兩樣都有，抄寫不多。

另外, 想問早上幾點打鐘上堂?
=> 8:00打第一次鐘，8:10打第二鐘，然後學校關門。有早會，8:30上第一堂。

小四開始才有留班制，要留班都會在小四或小五留。如果主科有2科不合格就要留班。

1) Do many students need to attend private tutor course in order to keep their academic performance?

2) Some rumour indicates that most of the students in SPC are from rich family, discrimination is quite common and students seperated into different groups according to their backgroup. Is it true?

3) If you could choose one more time, wouldl you choose SPC?

As I have 2 boys, I want to know more details.   Sorry for so many questions & thank you again.

As from gossip, Kei Wan goes to band 1 because it is a govt school and is newly established, no track record. One of my son's schoolmate with middle grades transfer to it and got into SKH Tang Siu Kin because they give Kei Wan 20 seats which is more than my son's current school.

If I were you, I will take St Paul for sure, because they have secondary and from the admission brief of SPC last Sat, they'll take almost all of their primary to the secondary.

And yes, they will move to Wong Chuk Hang which is next to the Aberdeen Tunnel's exit, but no idea is it 08 or 10.
