我都相信EC係好學校，有BK媽咪pm我，問我如果GT唔收佢地個小朋友點算好？我都叫佢地試下報EC.

不過我見呢個Topic無人回應GT同真道，其實對版主或其他想知多D呢兩間學校既家長好唔公平，所以先post D資料上嚟比其他人參考。

希望真道家長都入嚟分享下佢地所認識既真道。

呢幾年以我所看所聽以及比較3間學校的課程, 如果我係版主, 我首選真道base on學生,家長,老師quality desipte of its negative comment these years, 第二係優才 because of its comparative long history, experienced teacher, small class size and many extra-class activities. Then 播道, 我陪朋友去聽佢個seminar, 個校長好識搞氣氛, 在場家長好似聽林海峰個talk show, 每一句都係家長(尢其係準小一家長)最想聽到, 又識用自己的孩子做例子贏晒. 因為曾聽過十多個校長的talk再看見這幾年各間DSS的成績和運作. 我感覺EC校長係未有能力把學校辦得如他口中所說. 所有DSS既校長都有佢地既理想, 而真的實戰起來, 理想是遙不可及. 不過她的校舍地點和設計確是最美麗亦是她的賣點, 我相信很多家長都是被其校舍所吸引包括住在tko的我, 更何況在人煙密集的市區家長走進這環境, 很理解為何成為很多家長的首選. (hope parents of EC won't get angry with me ).

Jean, totally agreed with your analysis. Mr. Lo has his charisma to attract the people to follow him. Let EC Parent to make miracle in TKO.

Mr. Lo was a good teacher in SPCC before and he was a principal in DongChun for 2 years, so don't worry, he has 2 years experience and high EQ as well as he has time to push EC into top rank school later.

Remark: I have given up all DSS in TKO after one traditional famous school accepted my child although I paid for reserved seats.

I been to one of their seminars and was a bit disappointed.  The flow and structure was not well organized as it started with grouping the questions from audience and no answer was given until end of the seminar.   For someone like me who do not know much about the school beforehand, it was confused and not effectively using the time.
Besides, I could see only several staff managing the seminar which significantly different compare with other seminars.
In addition, I feel that the principal is the heart of the school instead of the teachers, which is a bit too personal for running a big school like that.
Anyway, this is only my comment.

非常多謝你們的info, 俾我更了解gt和ec. 我和太太一心 想俾仔仔入優才-tko, but被派去mk分校which我們不是太喜歡. so我們才考慮是否要轉太去其餘2間新校舍?? because之前聽聞mk分校的師資冇tko高, 設施冇tko多, 老師既愛心亦冇tko多...etc. (i don't know it's true or not) 其實我們做父母的都係想小朋友能入讀一間最好的學校.

我當然明白你感受。

其實優才有另一個Topic, 果個Topic有較多MK家長，你可以響果邊問其他優才家長既意見。至於師資，以我所知有幾位好老師都係由TKO調去MK.而老師愛心呢個問題，有一位MK家長咁樣講：

藍藍話我知，今日打針無人喊（M1B），全部小朋友都好開心，吾知M1A又點呢？原來他們打針時，班主任是會坐在椅子上，然後抱著每個小朋友，才讓姑娘打針的。我聽後覺得好感動，那麼好的老師哪裡找呢，我們的小寶貝卻幸運地遇上了！

容許我替 GT MK 的老師平反一下，目前兩班小一的班主任都是以前在 TKO 出名有愛心的老師，其中一位更在去年敬師日由學生投票奪得"愛心爆棚獎"，另一位則在 TKO 任教多年，經驗豐富。MK 的工友翠姐更是錫學生錫到

I would like to share my experience with you since I came across the situation.  First I must address that I like G.T.'s samll class as well.  However, I have my own consideration and situation.  Hope it will help a little bit.  

The reasons I have given up G.T. (MK) are as below:

1) Very personal feeling.  We only go around there once or twice a year.  It is the time when  we need to buy a pair of new sneakers.  My son and I both don't like the air pollution in MK.  Furthermore, we also don't like the environment there.  Just too complicated and busy.   I believed a good environment for a kid's growth is very important.

2) Safety is also our main concern.  You know the route and traffic condition from TKO to there.  Since my wife and I both work in HK Island, we can't bring him to take MTR every morning.

3) An adult spends 1.5 to 2.0 hours a day (round trip) on traffic is ok but not for a 6 years old kid.  1.5 hours X 200plus days X 3 years = ?  You can calculate.  I prefer to make use of the time on traffic.  Let him rest, play sports, read or join other activities after school.

I forgot to say.  Without a good ethic, IQ 150 is meaningless.........at least for me.

我是GT-MK的家長, 有關於空氣污染及噪音污染, 學校已聘請獨立公司作過評估, 而我個仔話返學時并不覺得吵, 聽唔倒車聲, 可能同關閉了對街的窗戶有關.

校車在學校正門上落, 無需過馬路.  至於交通時間, 就見仁見智了, 我個仔成日都想搭校車同d同學玩, 不過我就自已送佢返學, 途中傾計佢會講好多學校的事情俾我聽, 我視之為一個很好的親子溝通時段.

我由大埔出來都係35-40分鐘一程, 早上旺角好少人, 就算揀間在附近的學校, 都要15-20分鐘返學啦.

我十分同意您的分析．以下是我對其中兩校的感覺，回想我姪女面試當日，我抱著陪伴及打氣心情到過真道及播道，（剛巧兩校同日面試，只相差個半小時），我覺得真道在時間掌握方面很準確，在指定時間內已經可接回小朋友．但到達播道發覺幾混亂，因為等完小朋友入課室，又要等家長入去面試，在播道呆坐兩小時多，希望它明年在安排上會有所改善，不過無可否認播道校舍是最美麗，設計真很美觀．至於優才，我弟弟和弟婦就沒有選擇，由於他們都比較喜愛有基督教背景的學校．

想請問一下, 各位小朋友而家讀邊間幼稚園呢?

我亦打算將來給我的囝囝讀將軍澳的直資小學, 但我希望幼稚園的課程和教學方法和將來升讀的小學可以互相含接。大家可唔可以俾d意見, 我而家可以考慮邊幾間幼稚園?

仲想問下, 如果讀直資小學, 將來中學係唔係都要讀直資? 同于地中學會唔會含接唔到?

唔係, 應該可以再讀返官津中學, 但係揀呢類新直資學校, 都係預一條龍直升架啦.
銜唔銜接到? 官津中學分咁多等級, 點答? 叻果d, 讀邊間都冇問題, 問題只是新校的叻學生比例有幾多就唔知啦.
