My daughter has take a private group at the library.  The tutor teach the english is very active.  Sometimes they will go to the cinima, supermarket, this week they go to 年宵market.  My daughter like the lesson very much.

My son join the learning track center's Putonghua and English course 3 months. I feel he is making rapid progress.   My son 9 years old.  He move to international school last year. So he need improve his language including Putonghua and English.  That center in Causeway Bay. I don't know it is you said.

i personally think if the drop off and pick up thing is difficult for parents or if parents are only looking for a tutor to help out english homework, a private tutor might be the only option BUT if that's not a problem, pair work, group work and commuication with other class mate are very important in terms of learning a language and the dynamic and energy in the classroom makes such a difference than learning in your own house! that's why finding a good school is so important...
