Anyone interest to talk about ccc Kei Wan (Aldrich)

I learnt most of the Kei Wan Students are studing in Lok Lok. May I know what kind of tutor your kid is studying in?  

Can you recommend any exercise books and English Tutor for reference as I am looking for a NET for my kid.

Dear Ken,

My daughter have not study in Lok Lok. If you had read all the message I had worte here. From P. I to
P.3, my daughter only took an english tutor at Lei King Wan upto now, the others of Chinese, Maths and General Studies was teaching by myself and also I bought some extra exercise book at Book fesitval every year to her in summer holidays.

At P.4 I gave her one more Madarine tutor because I do not know well about this subject . This year P.5
I also add one more Maths tutor in English  to her as I expect she can enter English school at secondary.

For the  exercise book, I suggest you talk with the sales at the book festival, tell her/him which school
is your kid studying in, they will according  which school and give you an advise which exercise books are suitable for you. By the way, regarding the tutor, I do think it is depends on yourself, you must learn clear that which one is suitable to your kid, then discuss with her and if she likes it then you must support her and keep on.....don't drop it easly.

For you reference, I am very happy that my daughter can get full marks at Maths on yesterday.

Al the above, just only  my opinion, I would like to have you any comments.

Do you kid also studing at Kei Wan ?

Congratulations for your girl to get full marks in Maths.  I know that the Maths score is counted double in the report.

My son is also studying in Primary 4 of CCC Kei Wan.  I want to buy some English and Chinese exercises.  Which publications you bought?  Classroom or Longman?  

For English tutor, as we believe the English standard at Kei Wan is not enough.  So, I want to find a oral or general english class to my kid.  Are you joining the World Power at Lei King Wan? Any comments about this school?

Thanks a lot, as my daughter studying in P5, so the marks is counted nine times. Next year when your son at P5, you will have a handbook, it will clear to show out how much marks will count at each subject.

By the way, the supplementary erexcise books are accrodingly the school text books, you just need to
tell the sales, your son is studying in Kwi Wan, they will recommend you.

Yes, I am absolute agree with  you, compare the English standard with others school, Kei Wan's standard is much lower level than them as I had do some research of it. Yes, my daughter did, she was studying in there since she was in P.1. The native teachers are good, but I don't like their local staff.
By the way, I need to metion that those course at
World Power is no any relative with school text books. so you can learn some knowledge out of school.  Around our area, I had heard another tutor named Excel, the sound feed back is good too, you can to have a check, see which one is suitable to your son. Furthermore, did you read Kei Wan's post at last year, ifso, you can find my daughter and her two posts, and you may get some hence what is the standard between Kei Wan students itself.

How is the test results of your son, if you don't mind to tell me. Hope the above information can assist you. You are welcome and if you can also share your opinion to me is much appreciate.

I have not received all test papers, only the Maths results.  My son has 91.

For World Power, there is some different kind of course like conversation, comprehension... Which one you believe is better?

For Excel, is it located at Shaukeiwan?

Would you mind to pm me the titles of English and Chinese supplement exercise that you bought for my reference as the book exhibition is once in a year.  I can't wait for it!!

For Excel if I am right, it is just opposite of Sai Wan Ho centre. Not at Sai Kei Wan.

For World Powder, I prefer the course of creative writing or creative thinking. This is only my suggestion, please you must consider by yourself.

Hi Jcmichelle,

Due to my computer problems, sorry for my late reply.  My kid is now in P3 and is studying in a tranditional school in Wanchai.  From P1 to P2, she could keep in top 5 in the whole form, and I would like to transfer her to Kei Wan in P4. but since both of us need to work and she only takes care by the maid.  I still haven't made any decision.
