Ooops... why QQ Club is closed?  I found that the center has cut Ms Kurby's classes from 5 days/week into 3 days/week, hope they could maintain the business and Ms Kurby could stay...  you know, it is very hard to find experience and nice teacher in the market...

No...  My next choice for ballet will be JP Wong and Mao Mei, I like traditional and famous schools as I learned from this kind of schools when I was young

Yes, Ms. Kurby's class is very good and she is an experienced teacher and very nice.  My BB start from Sept and I joined during the baby expo.

I like those ballet schools which follow the British Ballet Exam Syllabus.  I know some new ballet schools like to add different topics in the class, e.g. Jazz, Drama, etc., but I personally do not like this.

For Panda class, I find this from 循道衛理, but I don't know whether this "anda Music" is that "anda Music", so, you'd better call and ask, please see details below:

pls check pm for Panda's own studio.  OR, you could try to call using the number I posted earlier for that particular class.  I don't know whether that course is taught by Ms Panda or not, you'd better call and ask.  I just by chance saw that a few weeks ago from Methodist Center, you can also call Methodlist Center to ask them to fax you the program details.

Hi NN and HappyYammie,

Panda playgroup is not own and taught by Miss Panda, it has nothing to do with Miss Panda's class. Besides teaching and doing music therapy, she only teaches at Danse a lili (no other place). She is not working in many different centre which you had mentioned.

曾雪麗 is really expensive. My girl has joined them for 3 years.  The fee was increased dramatically, from original around $750/mth jump to $930 during this 3 years.  Further we need to pay more than 1000 for the annual performance fee.  FOr the other show (eg. xmas show in the mall), we need to pay few hundred also. Further, we are forced to buy their handbook which cost 80 (original 50).  Everything is $$$$.  YOu can see their dollar sign everywhere in the centre eg.sticker, pen, photo....  Too crazy.

Although they claimed themselves as English ballet school, only some of the class is taught by the native speaker.  THe higher the grade, the less native teacher.  I have arranged my girl to other school, she is very happy to change and ask me to enroll her immediately and stop 曾雪麗.  That school offer the student a lot of chance to perform without unreasonable charges.

One more thing, a year ago, the staff told us that the principal will teach some classes occassionly in order to build up the student's foundation.  HOwever so far no show. Later, I was informed that the principal can offer lesson if you pay the extra tution fee, of course more than 1000/ hr.

So this school is too commercial and not whole heart enough to teach the student.

The above is just my opinion.

i phoned to 曾雪麗 before, also I find it quite expensive, for the promotion, if I pay 3 months for 2 lessons per week, it is reasonable but I found it is difficult to arrange the time.

$1,080/month x 3 months (1 lesson/wk)
$1,380/month x 3 months (2 lesson/wk)
plus uniform $6xx (-$200 if enrol at trial lesson)
Membership fee, 1 month deposit

Hi, 妤妤,

I've not made up my mind to enrol since I'm still thinking about the time arrangement and the location.  Since I live in Shatin, if I choose the class (MK) in CB, I need to spend more than 1.5 hours on the travelling time for just a 45 mins lesson.

I will try the ballet lesson, too.  Maybe I will make the decision after the ballet trial lesson.  

How about you?  Have you tried yet?
