哪間國際學校好呢？

The school targets to accept students whose parents (at least one) are HK residents, and not restricted to people in any area, so will be easier for local Chinese to apply.  Fee is $67K per year for primary and $90K per year for secondary.

I believe there are buses from MTR Sunny Bay station to Discovery Bay.  So can take Tung Chung MTR line to Sunny Bay and take the DB bus.  If from HK side, can take ferry to DB.  I believe they will have school bus service to different places, just like RC.

Sorry for the late reply, indeed I missed your message.  My child is studying in RCHK.  We're quite happy with the school, because my child loves going to school since day one.

I don't have many choices, RC is an IB school, so even there are not many foreign children there, still...

According my child and my observation,  the classroom teacher insists everyone speaks English during the classes.

Based on my observation of other parants comments, CAIS is a very good, KCIS good but Sear Rogers negative !

yes, the school told me they have some outsider mini bus but only Kln East but i'm living at Tsuen Wan's line.  They will not come so far.

Are you live in Discovery Bay??

I live beside the school while my son was borned.
And go to their church for mass...I bought an eng song vcd which is made by them.

The english standard is very good.

Agree with you. But I heard GSIS is also one of  hardest to get in. Wish your  kid can get in.

Yes, GSIS is one of the best (in my opinion).
I know a couple of children now studying there.
The children are good at both studying and playing.
To bad it is a bit remote for me -- I live in Kowloon.

HKIS is good. My son is studying in Grade 1. He was in CDNIS before but HKIS is definitly better.
Terachers are more experience and  the staff is friendly. 20 kids in a class and 1/3 are Chinese. They have Mandarin every other day.But my son is having a private Chinese tutor.
The good thing is HKIS always keep parents informed in every aspect.They do listen to your opinion.

Dear Ivy,

I am a new monther, personally, I like SIS which may provide good learning environment to my little boy, in terms of language and personality development (I know that the discipline is quite strict in SIS and reading books is part of their school life).  Except what I mentioned previously, can you explain more about this school as I really do not have much information about SIS.  

In addition, as I know that the education system in relation to SIS is totally different with the local Chinese school; in HK, we must take public examination for preparing to be promoted to university, eg HKCEE & HKALE, can my little boy go further his study in traditional HK Chinese school if in one day, he does not study in SIS and wants to study in local Chinese school.

Teachers are caring, the campus is quite large, happy learning environment
they have chinese lesson everyday (150mins per week)
and their academic result is good
Fee: $133500/yr (for grade1-4, including capital levy+ tuition fee)

Canadian international school: (Ontario curriculum)
the school emphasizes a lot on visual art and sports
the campus is execellent..
tuition fee: HKD$78500 for prep to grade 4

Singapore international school:( singapore curriculum)
more homework than other IS

Kellet School (UK curriculum)
school fee : HK$92,000 per year

Kennedy School (ESF), UK curriculum
school fee: $51,500

Dear all mother-members,

If a child chooses international school during his primary school life, can he switch to traditional local chinese secondary school for his further study.

If a child chooses international school during his primary & secondary life, can he further his study at local unversity or overseas university is only one way.

At present, I choose between singapore or UK curriculum, do any mother members recommend good international school with UK curriculum.
