Thanks .  It's good can have 2nd interview. How about your kids ?  did they enrol to other shcool ?  How many kids you have ?  I have two, the girl just 5 years old and her brother is studying in 高主教．好遠每早番香港個邊

I will go to the Open day of Pui Kiu College this Saturday and hand in the application.  I will not consider 'brand school' for him.

I hope the parent interview is not a group interview!

3lamma, I will try PKL 陳守仁  because just next to my house.  But do you have any suggest which will be better between 陳守仁/蔡繼有 and 浸小 ? (of course if can have sucessful admission)

manlili : yes my interview is on Fri 3:00 - 4:00 (but I have a problem because Fri Moning I will take a Lasik (EYE) on my eyes, so i don't know how it is).  Anyway I must go to School at around 3:00-4:00 Friday.  陳守仁 are you on line registered, today will have inform about interview date.

1 st interview 真係唔太 sure 佢問 d 咩, 因為家長無得入去, 我靠問番個女, 始終都係小朋友講都唔清唔楚. 好似話有幅圖畫問佢有個小朋友在洗手間遺留了東西她會怎樣處理掛. 估都係一般學校 interview 問題.

1) group in 5 or 6 to do a big puzzle on the floor.  Teacher will mark their strength and weaknesses by observation.
2) Do exercise with the teacher, check if they can follow instruction
3) Draw a picture about your family
5) Individual interview -ask you to describe the picture, general chattering and IQ question (in English)
6) Talent show (individual)

My girl told me about the drawing theme is
-what you want have a presents in coming x"mas.
-Take a card to answer a Question' what if your mum forget to sign in yr school notics.
-Phyicals tests left hand have to touch your right ear,right feet have to step on left feet... close eyesat the end then count 3 .
and a few question about herself in eng.

I am just back home from the parent interview, here is the tips for you.

1) parents are asked to fill in a form, again, on what topic would you suggest for parent education course and please state why.
2) if you fill in this quickly, they will ask to to see the principals sooner, so be quick.  There was a long queue there!
3) Interview in a room with either Mrs Chan, Miss Din, Mr Mak or another man(don't know who).  there are 4 sets of table in that room.
4) I got Mr Mak (vice principal).  He was extremely nice.  He asked 2 questions.  What do you do with your child in daily live (including school days and holiday). Secondly, how do you think of the parent education program, do you support it.

I think my interview was just like a chat with a nice man.  He liked my son's name and porfolio and I asked him some questions about the school towards the end.

It's a good sharing interview.

Hello! 3lamma,

Thank you very much for your helpful tips.  Firstly, Wish you have a successful interview and your son will have a accepting notice very soon.

My interview time is 3:00 - 4:00, I think your time is more better, because I need to take a half day leave from office, actually they let me choice either today's afternoon or tomorrow's afternoon, but I have schedule at office on today so can only accept tomorrow.

I hope can pass the interview too.  

But I was so confuse, because I sometimes thing that the school is too new, I don't know if they can run it as their mission or not?

Anyway, Thanks again, its nice to have your kind sharing.

但以過來人與你分享一吓，當時正直小一自行收生報名時間，它們便要求我哋响dealine前comfirm校方會否接受學位，要的話便即是要放棄政府的學位，咁你就要人生交叉點嗱

you are right to say that it's difficult to give up the central allocation if accepted by BU A-school.  It is the first school my son had interview and first needs to make decision.  Is your child in A-school now?

So, did your son study at HKBU P.1 now ?  How is it ?

我兒正讀浸小一年班。

我相信今年校方都會沿用去年的策略，响自行收生完結前會先鎖定一批人數，若有幸你們的寶貝能成為首批被取錄的學生，相信他們是校方最心儀的小學生了。但作為父母者，在這個時刻的確會有很多睇法，以過來人的心態和大家分享一吓•••
首先自問這是否你們最心儀的一間呢？其他心儀之算會否好唔捨得放棄機會呢？會否仍好想搏吓那些super傳統名校呢？
自己當時大約困擾咗三天左右便決定比個仔讀呢間，所有其他私校和直資都沒報名了，原因有：
1. 首先本人一開始便唔想個仔讀傳統名校或唔名校，絕對唔想倆母子將來大家為了沉重的功課和默書測驗等弄得冇晒家庭温暖；
2. 校方第一批就收自己個仔(不要唔會呀..真的不是讚他)，只表示咗是校方都覺得他是合適在這所學校發展；
3. 本人的校網沒有心儀的學校亦沒信心在政府的全憑運氣的遊戲規則裡可入讀好學校。
4. 真的對浸會大學辦一所直資學校，投以信心一票。

另一很重要的事，家住沙田至馬鞍山的會比較難入呀!!收生上限不可多於學額15%....

My son interviewed in August. Now, we have not received any information for 2nd interview. Is he failed ??

I also phoned the call to A-school for enquirey but they replied me that there will be 2nd lot of letter to be sent out to parents. Did you receive the letter ??

I had just finished an interview this afternoon. The same questions as 3lamma's tips, anyway, it is not too difficult questions.  And Mr. Chan interview me just ask why choice this school , but I not yet answer him, then he said " See, I understand why you choice this school because you already choice 浸幼．"   He told me that the students study here will have a happy learning enviornment, they will have 5 session per day and other time they will learn under fun / play.
