中文, 英文, 普通話都有學
我個大女今年畢業, 我就覺得英文底真係打得幾好囉!
但係中文就唔係好夠喇!!!
依家要迫佢睇多d中文書, 唔準只係睇英文書囉.
間學校其實幾好呀, 功課又少,
阿女讀得好開心, 同d 老師都幾friend 架.

我全原唔覺得我侄仔有外國人口音喎...
d同學仔極大部份都係中國人,
得個三幾個外籍老師, 單靠學校個三兩個鐘
有物可能有外國人口音呀....???
除非校外時間家長都谷個小朋友啦....
佢屋企有個英文站唔錯的賓賓
佢用英文同賓賓溝通都無物問題
日常生活個d英文都ok....

St.Catherine is a very traditional local kindergarten.  You are asking a very good question.  They use chinese and english to teach math, it makes my son very confuse during the past 2 years.  Their syllabus has a big problem, K1 no writing, K2 just started, teach number backward in English and Chinese, ask them to do the P.1 syllabus without teaching the foundation skills.  For Chinese, my son still cannot make sentence until now, all the words they learnt are difficult to make sentence.  For English, K2 is only half hour everyday, around 20 minutes for group, 10 mins. for individual.  For mandarin, only a short lesson in one week.  My son need to take extra lessons in all subjects.  The teachers are also not helpful.  Please do not choose this school.

For boy, of course choose HK Preschool or Keenmind.  St. Catherine has more than 1000 students.

In Kowloon side, HK Preschool is the best choice for boy.  Their Headmistress has good relationship with the famous school like DBS and St. Paul Boy.  Also, their Phonics and Chinese are better than St. Cat.

then, could u pls share why u choose St. Cat. for your son in the past? how about for girl, any good suggestion in Kwl. side? esp. East Kwl.

what are the Chinese names for HK Preschool or Keenmind?

Sorry, I don't know how to type the chinese words!  But the pronunciation for HK Preschool is "Lok Kee" and Keenmind is "Kim Ming".

I am more familiar with the schools in HK side as I live in HK side before. Then I move to Kowloon side few years ago.  

When I started to choose the Kindergarten, some people said St. Cat is a happy school, but for academy of course St. Teresa or Kenville, law...  Actually, I didn't have enough information when I applied St. Cat and this is the first school accepted my son's application.  I received their letter around one week.  Then, I gave up the other kindergarten's interview.

There are 2. One in Shatin and the other one in Kowloon  Tong.

The comments of Shatin and Kowloon Tong are also quite good.   Recently, some people living in Shatin but they choose Kln Tong school.

A lot of learning centres comments HKPS (KT)'s mothers are very aggressive.   The school also experience in teaching phonics.
