你哋好! 我小朋友都係俾陸慶濤收咗, 不過依家仲係決擇緊.
6月17日的講座因為有事未能參加, 其實我都好想瞭解多D佢哋今年轉直資後嘅方向, 特別係英文方面, 會有什麽學習新動向, 知道在6月24日會有簡介會, 我會盡量抽時間去聽吓.

另外都想你哋俾多D意見我, 唔該晒!

Most St. Joseph boys will promote to their own secondary school, which is a CMI, so also not very good.

証明你仔仔INTERVIEW D成績好過我女女, 佢無打電話比我, 我女學校都有家長KEEP 住咗LHT 同播道學位, 到現在仍未選定, 不過佢最多只可以KEEP 到六月尾, 因為播道要在六月尾先行交第一個月學費.

*** 請問LHT 有無話叫家長先行再交9月份學費

I think both primary schools are good.  However, "中學旁有一間職業先修學校" should not be the key factor in the decision making process.  As you know the education policy is changing.


A few weeks ago, 教統局 announced that all of the F3 students are encouraged to promote to F4 in the original school.  That means the "職業先修學校"  will have problem to acquire new students in future.  The principal of that school planned to 縮班 (the Principal  replied to the reporter in the TVB's News report) in order to improve the quality of the students.

教統局稱，為了確保連貫性，希望所有學生均可在同一間學校完成6年中學教育，建議取消中三成績評核。"

2.   You should ask the principal of LHT the question directly when you attend the seminar or by e-mail.  What the principal of LHT replied is that all of their secondary school's teachers and students have to stay at school for lunch.

     Besides, you still have the right to chose the secondary school in P.6.  For me, I will consider the factors of academic level, physical education, Music,.... of that primary school.  

It is up to you to make your decision.

I totally agreed with lkong2005 point of view. BTW, I think the parent who hold the place of more than 1 DSPS should now make a wise & quick decision, and decline the seat asap so that other parent & child in the waiting list could get place as early as poosible. :-x

只是小孩面試, 老師會問小孩問題, 當中有中有英.
但你有否聽聞聖若瑟的評語或意見嗎?

舊年係頭一年轉全日制，P1,P2為全日制，以上年級仍為半日。我仔仔已經多數學科為英文教學，接觸英文的面很廣，不過小朋友在課室裏多講中文。我仔仔在幼稚園時，是規定在課室裏只准說英文，所以他平日見到同學就習慣說英文，現在反而不習慣說了。

聖若瑟的課外活動應該滿豐富，因為他有些傳統的強項，如游泳隊，羽毛球隊，英文話劇組。不過，p1少些，應為參加課外活動多數搭不到校巴，所以我仔仔沒有參加什麽學校的課外活動，自己家門口參加些体藝活動，學校倒沒有特別要求。

1. 可否分享一些令兒子如何適應小一的方法呢?
2. 我聽朋友說, 有部份學生在不適應的情況下退學, 是否退學的情況嚴重?
3. 如果學生未能適應, 學校有否輔導措施呢?
還有, 您的兒子是讀那一間幼稚園呢?

我和husband 都有參加17號briefing，校長及老師們講解到小一生的各科目編排，而每個程序及編排都一一考慮到如何令學生有效地吸收到所學的知識、提升理解能力等為目標，這個信息令我非常認同。

Science 科目分開中、英文亦能夠提昇到學生們的語文能力。個人對英文科十分看重，普通話亦不能忽視呢！

一邊是p1新生家長，一邊是準新生家長。兩閒校方真應該受鼓舞。
