My colleague's daughter recieved the acceptance letter today. Her daughter is now studying in Heep Yan. She is only in a '小康之家'. Academic result is good but not the top. However, she is very presentable, active and well-confidence enough. So, her present school had recommended her to participate in '十大傑出學生' 選舉 before.

而且同一間學校係同一時間interview

Yes, you're right. Her mother also thinks like that, so she is now struggling between these two schools.  She is afraid of the huge amount of school fee and  those fees that can not predict in the future.
Besides, she dosen't want her daughter's 'character' will change after studying in DGS.

比我選我一定留在協恩, 協恩中學成績又好, d女仔又乖. 而且又係小學升上去, 課程&朋友一定無大問題.
去到女拔會點, 真係無人知.
不過最重要都係同小朋友傾 & 比佢自己選. (6年級,真係大個女)

記得幾年前有個朋友, 個女年年全級考第一, 但只派到一間沙田英中. 個女仔就好開心, 因為有幾個最好的朋友都係派去呢一間.   但佢媽咪當然想佢讀x利x, 校長寫信入左去. 媽咪就好開心, 個女就好唔開心.

到中學課程唔可晒, 佢知道一定無可能拿到最好的成績.  中一,二無心機讀書, 成日唔做功課, 成績又差.  話佢就話間學校係妳選, 妳黎讀啦, 功課妳黎做啦!  到中四才好些. 但已經追唔返以前咁好d成績! 真係好可惜. 其實沙田那間英中d成績都非常好.

SFA 好似有6、7個考到，但有些成績只是BAND ONE 中，有課外活動但並非出色，而成績好而有奧數金獎反而考不到，真不知其準則?是否要選家境?因為考到的有部份家裹是做生意。
