我又想請問你...我比100條個位數你去計..你是否還雖要運算和思考呢??當然不用吧..那表示你腦袋己能"反應",但當你還是幼兒時..請問你雖要"運算"嗎.,當然要吧..是反應還是運算.只在於熟與不熟.用"反應"計出來的數.過去也曾經"運算"過.如你所說.能用10鐘反應出100條題目.就去學一些新的數..那時就不可能10分鐘完成..那時是要運算,你所說的每種"反應",也曾經過"運算"的辛苦過程
只是十分反感低能這種字眼

My girl is too young to join any of the Kumon course, but I tend to agree Helloman's argument.  Most of you might remember the 數學神童 輝仔.  His "calculation speed" is comparable to or even better than someone using calculator. but in the end he's in arts stream.  I am not saying calculation is not important, but Maths is more than calculation.  It's the reasoning behind and the logical thinking that matter.  I know a kid which is 3 yr old and attend Kumon Chi and Eng.  he told his mum "I don't like studying and I hate memorising those terms".  To me, it's a typical example of how attending those courses "ruin" the child's interest in language.  In his mind, studying is dull and he doesn't enjoy it.
