My son got pm class too (chi-eng); I called the school and being told that am class already full before interview as reserve for playgroup.  Can't use post-date cheque to pay, but they will only present the cheque on1 June 06 so can still notify if withdraw before one month.

in my opinion, amongst your list KM would be the 1st choice !  What if SC and KV call you, what would you do ?

I only know that there Eng/Chi stream has 1 expat and 1 chinese (who speaks cantonese) to the children; the International stream has 1 expat and 1 chinese (who speaks Mandarin) to them, and k2 has free violin class........lot of activities........that's all, I also want more information, let's share!

Is there any parent who has child studying at its playgroup? I know that places are reserved for students studying at their playgroup.
Can you share whether you would let your child continue studying at  K1.   Since I want to know the chance of switching from pm to am session.
Does the school ask the parents to reserve the K1 seats for their children?  Or they simply assume the kids will continue to study k1.

My child is studying in international class playgroup. All the kindergardens we interviewed offer places for us including sc & kentville am. Though we do not have a final decision, most probably we will stay in HKPS. He enjoys going to school and the teachers are nice and friendly. The staff told me that they assume playgroup kids will go to nursery (k1) and they will give us a form to fill in very soon to choose am/pm session. I think there's always a chance to switch from pm to am. The picture may become clearer after all parents fill in the form.

Can you share which one (KM & HKPS) is better? Why do you choose KM right now? Is there any strong of KM?

I didn't know how to choose since these two kinders also accept my child.  KM accept him in am class but  HKPS is pm class. I like HKPS rather than KM, but I dislike pm class.

Could you give me advice?

I do have the same situation as you (KM and HKPS), HKPS offered me the PM int'l class, I phoned to their staff if i don't know PHA how can i teach my daughter. They reply me you can buy some CD learn it by myself then teach your child.

But the same question i asked to KM, KM reply to me at the kindergarten level they more focus on the listening so all the material are given to you, then you can learn it with your child together.
