keen mind or Kenville, what would you choose?

because i am so " eight", love to talk with a lot of people wow..
but now between Kenville and Keen Mind, i am 60/40 ... ( right now i will forget SC , but will try to ask a seat, will not put a lot of hopes )

I also want to know that how KM can teach their students Chin / Eng / Maths just at the begining of K3 to have the good abilities to do the P1 exam paper. Does the school have some excises that can self learning at home?

I know that this kinder has local and international class which class are better?

你太過獎啦！其實我唔係一個稱職的媽咪，這全是婆婆的功勞。每晚我放工回去婆婆家都已經6點幾至7點幾，又要食飯，和小兒親一會兒8點左右便要走(拿飯給老公食)，小兒9點左右又要睡覺，真的沒有時間教他功課。 :cry:

我覺得KM在中英數三方面的教育平衡得好好，不會只側重某方面，程度亦合乎我的要求。

小兒很喜歡返學，我時常問他老師對他好不好，他說好，老師對每位同學仔都好好。

我沒有給額外的習作給小兒，他只有學校提供的書和習作，很普通，不是什麼特別操練。

Is your son studing in am class? so how he speak full sentances in English ? how about the English level in Keen Mind, I know its chinese trainning is strong.
BTW, did you join a lot of activities in KM , like singing courses? as believe it can build up the children' confidence during interview for p1, is it true? can you share more.. As i am struggling whether i should put him in KM or Kenville.

其實小兒並沒有考過KV、SC等幼稚園，所以我未試過各位現在要選擇的煩惱。

但說真的，就算給我KV、SC和KM選擇，我也會選KM。 我喜歡它的家庭感覺，很溫暖; 我不喜歡大製作像工廠一樣。

My son is studying in AM class.  He can speak full sentances in English but not frequent.  We are not English speaking family.  I believe his English level is above average.  But this could not be compared with those kids who are studying in the international school or who are living in an English speaking family.

I do not put my son to many extra curricular activities.  He had tried to join the phonics class which was organised by KM on Sat for few months but there was no clear improvement.  Besides, it is a long way from home to school.  I believe it is not worth to spend the time for travelling.  My son joins a drawing class near my home on Sat.  He learns piano every Wed and practise it on Mon, Tue & Thu.  He attends swimming class on Fri.  That's all but I have already found he is busy enough.

i heard rumour about that in KM, if a moms contribute less for the school, the school care less for her kids. Is it true ????

I don't think so!!

No!!!!!!  I'm never contribute for the school since my kid study there from Nursey until now K3.  I don't feel all the teacher care less for my kid.

Agreed with bigfriend_ling.  This is absolutely not the fact!

I am a working mum.  I don't have time to contribute to the school.  I know that there are full time mums who will help the school.  KM will appreciate their effort and thank them by presenting 獎牌/獎狀 in graduation ceremony.  That's all.  Our kids will not be labelled.  My son said teachers loves all the kids.

I don't have any special method.  I am glad that my son has a good memory (only if he is in the mood to study ).  Just let him to play a while and then study for a while.  He is a stubborn boy.  He will only do what he has agreed with.  So, we always have to struggle the time with him.:evil:

Hi :

My son was accepted by KM and placed on waiting list by SC and KV. But I husband would like him to go into SC or KV and like to ask for follw up.
For myself, I like the school very much as to the atmosphere of the school (small class of 20,teachers are nice with patience) at my first impression during interview day.  I really don't know what to do?  Please help!!!

My son's case just likes that ofyour son. After the interview and the school visit, Keenmind really gives me a very good impression. My son also said that he liked the school. I will pay the registration fee today.
Now, I find that it's a good choice to study at Keenmind and I am not as eager as before to be acceptd by Kent & SC. Moreover, my son gets a placement in the a.m. class in Keenmind. If he is admitted by Kent's p.m. class finally, I will tend to choose Keenmind's a.m. class.

I've received the admission letter of Kent today. My husband and I prefer Keenmind than Kent at this moment. Anyway, I will pay for the registration fee for Kent first and consider thoroughly for a few months.

hi dear all,
since keen mind gives me very good feeling, i plan to put my younger son into Keen mind at this moment even his big brother is studying KV r now. So i have paid both of their registeration fee. and let myself having much time to think about it
