入名校真的咁重要嗎?

5大名牌幼稚園比拼

根德園幼稚園
辦學理念: 採用傳統教學, 幼稚園出名功課多, 課程深, 但很注重英文, 由其孩子的英語發音, 由於畢業生大多升讀九龍城區名牌小學, 很受家長歡迎, 適合內向, 文靜, 有耐性的小孩入讀

國際英文幼稚園
辦學理念: 以活動教學為主, 由其注重英語, 因此每班各有一位本地和一位外籍老師當班主任, 學校不單教導孩子英文音標和拼音法, 外籍教師會用英語跟小孩交談, 又會以講故事形式授課, 增加孩子聽和講的機會, 加強他們的表達能力, 另外更鼓勵孩子多讀課外書, 培養良好的閱讀習慣, 適合活潑好動, 很有創意, 不喜歡受約束的小孩

基督堂幼稚園
學校k2才開始招生, 由於小孩入讀k1後才進行面試, 所以學校對學生的語言能力, 知識範圍和性格發展方面, 會作出更準確及全面的評估, 由於這間學校的畢業生很多都入讀女拔萃或男拔萃小學, 一直是家長趨之若鶩的學府, 適合成熟, 穩重, 且自信心和學習能力較強的小孩

宣道幼稚園
注重學業, 每年以四次考試及四次觀察評估, 由於該校可直升九龍塘宣道小學, 免卻派位的煩惱, 適合學童內向, 文靜, 有耐性的小孩

聖公會幼稚園
奉行主題教學, 小朋友透過資料蒐集, 問題討論及小組分工等學習, 該校強調給予小朋友選擇權, 學生可按喜好選擇研習的題目, 可在自由活動時間, 畎應自己興趣, 到喜歡的遊戲角學習

I think one of the very important point is they have a lot of applicants to chose from. They can select the outstanding one (of course it only based on the performance in the interview). They may even select the one that have a rather good family background (I am not particularly refering to the rich family but at least educated parents) The peer group is very important in early age and they influence each other. Given St. Catherine as an example,everyone said the students in there have a very good english standard. I am sure 80% are contributed by their parents.

其實名唔名校都冇所謂, 最緊要小朋友開心, 而自己又滿意學校既教育方式

Totally Agree. 名校 NOT = a good school for your kid.

EVERY KID IS UNIQUE. Mums, don't just believe in brand name.

......Some mothers just chase for the brands and feel proud when talking to others.  They are really not educated.!
