各位家長，唔知去平等機會委員會投訴，有冇用呢。我覺得以基督博愛精神，應該給與非教徒加分。等非教徒小朋友有機會進入教會學校，接觸耶穌基督，教導他們博愛，仁愛等理念，造福社會。我身邊有朋友為了入小學，舉家飛往菲國受洗，今天成功進入油天，晚上還舉行慶功。可憐我只有15分，被拒於門外，因我沒有同流合污。我沒有不開心，我深信小學只是人生一個階段，我的小朋友一定會堂堂正正，出人頭地。我給與他絕對的宗教自由，希望他能獨立思考，為自己人生作出決定。為了讀書而強迫信教，不是我所為。

There are still lots of good school which do not have any "religion" marks.  So wish you could got a good school for your child!

Are you sure, I think it should not be the case, a friend of mine's child was not born in Hong Kong, and the child was definately baptise in her birth country, so what's wrong is it.
Besides, catholic is one unity, so I don't think it is the case.

我唔覺得有宗教分唔公平喎，有天主教/基督教學校之所以能係家長心目中受歡迎，背後有好多教徒既奉獻、捐助，出錢出力。絕對應該俾理類家長及小朋友有分加，有宗教分只係增加機會，而唔係一定入到喎。

而所提出有人到菲律賓取得領洗紙而又入到家長心目中既名校，我又覺得既然學校都容許唔係同一堂區既小朋友加上宗教分，其他家長都要接受架。好似香港以前，好多人都係為左教會有牛奶派先會番教會，教會中人又點會唔知?但理個係吸引人去聽教從而入教既手法喎，同一道理

My opinion is those parents are morally misconduct while they are tempted to do so under the existing education system. I am sure those parents will not waste money overseas to get that religious proof if there's no 5 points to be added for their children.

I suggest that 5 points added to those religious children should be removed.

On the other hand, 5 points should be added to those without religious background. Because they will have potential to join into that religious during their studying. If the school really wants to spread God spirit to everyone else.

Furthermore, 5 points may be deducted while the other religious school being chosen, say Buddhists choose Catholics. But this will be rare case.

Education rules are ever changing. No one knows the rules will be changed to the above next time.

I agreed with this. I know a parent who got the religion for purpose of primary school admission but they kept the promise and learned and now is a very loyal Catholics. Though the procedure of becoming catholic was not in order, the same destination!

Besides, those who will get a place from lucky draw may not be catholics as well. but they can be taught to be Catholics.

Please clarify by what means you said “天主教教友 will accept this”.
And why you have to hope that our child won’t become a bad guy?

我地無讚同過咁做係啱，你咁講野既？
只係有D人不擇手段為求目的，
我唔明白點解你要衝著教徒來講呢？
如果沒有了宗教分，
老實，我唔覺得非教徒會有大D機會。
咁只會舊生順利入讀，唔好唔記得佢地都係20分喎。
名校舊生眾多，都一樣唔輪到15分啫。
但點解無咁多人嘈舊生分呢？
因為父母番唔到轉頭？
點解當年自己考唔到入名校？咁咪無得怨囉。

琴日我接了3個教友的電話，
三個都20分抽唔到，所以教友唔一定入架。
但佢地無怨過一句，只說望天主有更好的安排。
只因父母眼中認為最好的，未必真係為孩子是最好。
我地有信德的會咁諗，不過你可能唔明我講緊咩。

Definitely, the system may have problem.
However, the main problem is the parents are trying to rationalize their "cheating" acts of taking their children to baptise, to use friends' or relatives' addresses or to rent an "empty" flat in order to take advantage from this system. Lawfully, they are not wrong but they are setting bad models for their children morally.
