收到男抜面試信-又係5/11, 我暈啦

The interview letter I received for my son is on 29/10 (Sat) 11am...and our application no. is 424.

So I think they arrange the interview according to the sequence we submitted our form?

啟思小學是 5/11 or 12/11 which has been informed at the application information which state at school web site. I would choose 1.DBSPD 2. SFA . please give your choose

都是同一時間, 男拔及九龍塘及蔡繼有要作一個選擇, 應該是學校刻意安排的, 看報考的家長的誠意或首選, 但是, 我們家長的首選不等於學校會接納, 對嗎? 不知, 是否有家長知道, 可否改時間, 或遲到可否面試?

我都係撞晒, 唯一可以放棄既係kts, 因為dbspd同cky我都好想比阿仔去試考, 點解d學校會咁安排呢?   我都想嘗試去改時間, 但我諗係唔會改, 因為一改, 學校都會好難安排, 而家唯有作出決擇, 究竟cky 同 dbspd 邊間機會大d 呢?

我覺得其實如果要求學校改期，就算改到，無論咩理由，我覺得去唔去in ，結果都係一樣。

Let me share my time crash experience years ago.

My son was invited to interview by 2 reputable primary schools exactly at the same same. Both schools were equally difficult to enter. I decided to go school A first in one hour earlier than schedule hoping to start earlier. Consequently we could not start earlier but waited 1.5 hours before interviewing with the teacher. :cry:

After finishing it, we took a taxi to school B.

The school staff questioned why we were so late (over 1.5 hour later than schedule). I told the truth - we had an interview with another school before and it was overrun. A nice teacher quickly took my son to interview.

What was the outcome of the applications to the schools? That's very surprising - anyone likes to guess?

I guess you are accepted by both schools.

Yes, my kid was accepted by School B (I would rather keep the name, but it is not SFA).

School A rejected him (although it gave him a written test several months later - it was another story.)

I just want to say - take it easy. Many schools really don't mind you arriving late (it's not your fault!), they just mind not seizing the best students and ideal family background - trust me.

So, plan the itinerary and go as many interviews as you can, provided your kid is not too exhausted in a day.  :  Of course, do let the kid have a good long sleep before the day la!   Good luck.

聽完你講我都好想先早小小去cky interview, 然後即趕去dbspd, 希望dbspd都可以好似school b 咁比個機會遲左都比去in la :

但sfa 在網頁上寫明, 遲到十五分鐘者不獲接見, 請問是否嚴格執行 ?

真係比ｄ學校玩死，　都唔知點好

男拔收到信in 29/10 10:00a.m , 但係 5/11我都撞佐3間,九龍塘, SFA,  聖若望. 而家頭痛緊. SFA是否依交表時間安排面試的時間,如果是就要就返時間交表囉.

另外我想問下男拔第一次IN 是否要見家長,因為我連續3日都有學校要IN,老公請唔到咁多假.

Dear all

根據往年與孩子面試的經驗，SFA是可以遲些和早些也沒有問題的，因為她是集齊一班學生便上課室考試的，不會理會你的實際時間。

而DBSPD往往需要等很久，差不多兩至三小時。不如兩夫婦合作，一方作出登記，另一方安排另一間學校考試，但時間要KEEP得很準。
