My girl is studying at Think. I really appreciate the efforts of the teacher. She has got 2 class teahcers, one NET, one Hong Konger. The NET teaches 2 hours every day whereas the other one teaches 1 hour in Cantonese.
The school puts heavy emphasis on English but does not neglect Chinese. Students will have one-hour Chinese lessons in Cantonese and Putonghua in the second year and all Putonghua in the last year. Mine has learned some Chinese characters.
The teachers are devoted. My girl's teacher at least twice a week discussing all tiny details about her with me. A few days ago, the teacher called me saying that my girl got runny nose at school. She asked me to bring her to the doctor. She is caring and partient.
The head of the school once said in a parent meeting that it is the school policy that teachers have to keep close contact with parents.
She has many outings. For example, when it comes to the topic of Autumn, teachers brings the kids out to the park to pick dry leaves and let the kids notice the change of clolors of the leaves.
It is a good school. |
