我都識不少人KGV讀緊，有初中，有剛入大學，亦有已畢業做緊專業人仕，冇聽過校風特別差。

我都想知而家嘅機制下小學升中學係點運作，係填表揀但直屬小學優先？定係by default升直屬中學冇得揀-除非小學轉定校？

by zone,但我知道也看同學的能力及態度；cwbs有同學表現欠佳year 7不能升上KGV;也被升去港島某ESF中学；佢地不是住港島。

即係ESF認為KGV較港島區各中學較優勝或程度較高？
能力較差的只能升讀IS/SIS/WIS而不能升KGV？

唔清楚嗰個CWBS的情況，但聽落呢個邏輯有啲奇怪。

个同學住九龍；要去香港返学。KGV不夠位比所有CWBS and KJS and Beacon Hill school 的year 6学生；表現欠佳的同學便要去港島ESF中学也不奇；好logical!

早幾年聽過有RC轉KGV，不過唔知係唔係KGV有Sibling所以priority又再高啲

RC升中連表格都冇得填，全部直升RC中學。嗰個學生應該係申請internal transfer。

已經唔係by catchment zone。所有小學只能升associated secondary。如果要入KGV就一定要讀KJS/CWBS。每間學校有2年嘅commitment period，要讀夠兩年先可以轉校。所以你either小學轉校or入咗另一間中學讀兩年後轉校。留意返佢話year 6先入嘅學生唔guarantee入返associated secondary。

近幾年已經改咗制度，已經唔係by zone，係一定要入返每間學校嘅associated secondary。CWBS associated secondary係KGV

ESF will process and allocate according to an ‘associated secondary school’ for Year 7 placement. Below are the associated secondary schools for each primary school.
