"In 2024, two of our students participated in the IAL examinations. One of these students achieved grades A*A*AA in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and was awarded a £12,000 scholarship from the University of Sheffield to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering."

"In the 2022/23 academic year, the IAL was offered to 3 students. 2 of these students were scheduled to sit for the IAL in May 2023 and again in January 2024. The third student, a particularly gifted individual, sat for the IAL in 2023 and obtained outstanding results of A*A*A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics. He subsequently received an unconditional offer from the University of Oxford in the UK to pursue a four-year combined Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics. This offer was for the academic period from September 2023 to June 2027. Remarkably, this student received the offer from Oxford when he was just 14 years old, a testament to his exceptional talent and the effectiveness of our school’s gifted education programme. Furthermore,
this student was awarded a scholarship from the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme, further exemplifying the high academic standards and the success of our gifted education at St. Margaret's."
