英國 top 100 內大學可以嗎?

其實如果要讀到30名打後既大學，不如試下用ALevel成績考香港6大，畢竟英國學費唔平，加埋生活費要40萬一年，投放甘多金錢換來一個不知名學位，香港6大勝在學費平同好過不知名大學。

全個英國只有一百多間學校，人口比例一d都唔高，所以我唔覺得任何一間是野雞。但英國讀大學好貴，值唔值用咁多錢讀排名咁低嘅學校？

香港五大世界排名真係唔失禮

各排行磅均有參考价值, 但如有興趣或認真, 不妨多看一下平分标準, e.g., 1. "Citation Per Faculty" - CityU HK 排名比Cambridge 高一倍
2. "International Students Ratio" - HKBU, CityUHK係同Imperical College一样咁多外国學生, 但如有机会經过HKBU同CityUHK, 係咪見到咁多外国學生
3. "International Faculty Ratio" - CityUHK 重高过UST同HKU

不知不角, 各個细分加起來, 某d大学排名便高了不少.

最好,
1. 睇下每一個项意思
2. 選自己关心的项來weight / rank
3. 不要只睇overall ranking

其實最實際係咁，看subject ranking 和課程內容，並唔係睇間大學什麼世界排名，睇世界排名毫無意義。不過世界排名亦係好多香港家長鐘意睇嘅。

我睇過有個 post, 說一個讀有名氣既大學, 但佢讀果科排名好低, 另一個讀一間冇人識既大學, 但佢讀果科排名係好高既, 最後出來工作, 反而讀有名氣果間大學一見工就成, 而唔出名果間大學既朋友, 一直都搵唔到工, 佢伸HR原來係睇大學去請人既.

純粹個人意見同經驗

HR俾得你interview， 一定已經知道你邊間大學出身， 最終請唔請， 我覺得同面試表現關係大啲， 唔一定係你表現差， 可能只係有其他人比你更好。

如果7月成績出了再去申請香港既大學, 大學會唔會接受?

同意當然唔可以只睇大學排名，不過都會參考下

HR點睇排名，我估同咩工有關。如果係專業方面，subject 排名自然重要；如果只要求degree ，HR自然較睇重學校排名。

Conclusions

The results presented above suggest that there are currently four distinctive clusters of universities in the UK. A stark division is evident between the Old pre-1992 universities on the one hand and the New post-1992 universities on the other hand, with large differences evident in terms of research activity, economic resources, academic selectivity, and social mix. The difference between Old and New universities with respect to teaching quality, however, is much more minor.
